About this house rental
Located in Oak Island, this lovely house for $340 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bath home on Oak Island, NC, only a very short walk to the beach. 2 level home features a family room, fully loaded kitchen, dining room, screened porch, 2 BRs and 2 baths on the main floor. 2nd floor has 2 more bedrooms, a full bath, another family room, and a beautiful covered porch. We also have a pool! We are on the 3rd row back from the beach and about a 2-3 minute walk to a public beach access on 26th. House sleeps 10 with a king and a queen bed on the main level, and a queen, two twins and a queen sleeper sofa on the 2nd level. Amenities include washer/dryer, WiFi, streaming TV with movie channels, stereo system, gas grill, private pool. We also have installed an elevator from the ground floor to the first floor. There are two outside Blink cameras. One is on the front porch facing the front door. The second is under the screened porch facing out under the house and toward the street. The cameras are turned ON during rental season ONLY between 10 am and 4 pm on Saturdays, check in day. This allows us to let the property manager know when guests are gone so that the house can be cleaned for the next guests. The cameras are turned OFF after 4 pm on Saturdays and remain OFF during your stay. They remain ON at all times in the off season. Although we have the off season blocked off for personal use, we would consider renting the house during that time if we are not going to be there. We try to get there as often as we can, and sometimes we don't know until a few days before. But email us if you are considering a last minute fall, winter or spring getaway to the beach! The house may be available! We will not rent too far in advance, but it's worth a try!

The host was very kind and friendly, and if we needed something at all we had our answer in such a timely manner and didn’t worry about having to go to a place to ask our questions. Perfect location, beautiful home, everything we could ask for in a family vacation. We have been going on family vacations as long as I can remember and this is by far our favorite home we’ve stayed in. We had a small issue with the air conditioning upstairs, however the owners were very responsive and it was resolved quickly without interrupting our trip. Well stocked kitchen and the pool was awesome. We would love to stay here again!

By far the best house we’ve stayed in on Oak Island. There is so much room in this house. There were six adults and one toddler in our group. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept great in them. The bathrooms are huge. The upstairs has everything you need to just hang out separately or with a group of people. The balcony upstairs is so nice to be on in the mornings while eating breakfast and drinking coffee. You can see the ocean. The kitchen has everything you need. There are plenty of spices and other cooking ingredients to use. The screened in back porch is nice to go sit and listen to the ocean or just hang out. The elevator is a big plus with getting luggage and groceries up to the house. The pool is amazing. The house is on a quiet street. We didn’t have loud neighbors while we were there. The walk to the beach takes only a few minutes. Janet communicated within minutes with me. You simply can’t go wrong with this house. We can’t wait to stay here again. We had a lovely week.

This house is more than it is a home away from home in our opinion. We had a blast at the beach and in the pool. With such a large spacious house everyone had space to relax and unwind while the kitchen had plenty of room to whip up a meal for all in no time!!!

The pictures of the property do not do it justice. It is much bigger in person. Well decorated and just super comfortable.

This was our fourth visit to Copeland Beach House and as usual it never disappoints! We love everything about this house, the location, cleanliness, proximity to the beach - already booked for next summer! Owners are the best, always very attentive and quick to respond.

We had 5 adults 4 children ages 1-6. We had plenty of space. The outdoor shower SUCH A PLUS. The men LOVED the elevator for transporting all the luggage. There is a fun park and splash pad about 1/2 mile to one mile down the road. Beach in walking distance! There is a rental company which is VERY reasonable for everything like baby gates coolers beach carts. ( baby gate was $15 for the week) It would’ve been great to have that information ahead of time because it does fill up fast. The owners were VERY RESPONSIVE. House very clean and screen in porch was perfect for out door dining. Very short walk to the beach even the 3 yr old had no problem after a full day at the beach. Myrtle Beach is about an hour away we took in the pirate dinner & shopping and fun kids museum. Grocery stores close to the house and the kitchen well stocked. Everyone had a wonderful week.

Celebrating anniversaries and birthdays
This property was perfect for our family of adults and teens. lots of space to be together but also to find that quiet space to read . Having a pool was perfect since the ocean was rough. My husband with disabilities was very comfortable having an elevator and the pool. It made celebrating our 50th the best, everything we needed was there. Janet was amazing to work with answered all my questions immediately! So glad we chose this beautiful home !

Family Beach Vacation
We thought Tropical Storm Colin may dampen our week at the beach, but it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. Thank you Carson and Janet for opening your beautiful home to us each year. We have already booked for 2023!

Big beautiful house close to beach
This is a big beautiful house in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch with large dining table and the pool on the back of the house.

Family Vacay
We had such a blast! Renting from Carson and Janet was such a great experience! The house is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect space for my family and parents! We had a slight hiccup with the elevator but Carson was so kind in helping us navigate and getting help out to save “blankie”! Our girls loved the pool! The distance to the beach was convenient but I wish we would have rented their golf cart for the week. Definitely will next time! Oak island is lovely and so family friendly. We will be back! Thanks so much for having us!

Amazing stay
We loved this vacation an amazing home rental with great hosts who were very quick to respond, and answer questions. Check in and out was a simple easy process. The pictures on the listing don't do the home justice it's a beautiful home in a beautiful town close to the beach. We already booked for next year!!!!

Annual Family Beach Vacation
We were saddened for our Oak Island vacation to end. This is our second year staying at Janet and Carson’s home. Everything about their house is warm and welcoming—simply beautiful. It has all of the amenities we need and the grandchildren love the pool! We are counting the days until next year. Thank you Janet and Carson!

Beautiful Hurricane Proof Home
Yep, we were the renters that were there when Isaias hit Oak Island in the worst possible way! But let me tell you about this beautiful home that kept us safe ! First of all it’s our second visit (and yes we will come back a third time) the house is everything you see online and now I can say that it is hurricane proof! Our visit was cut short due to the mandatory evacuation as many other homes unfortunately did not do as well as the Copeland House ! Janet & Carson are the best; very responsive and just a phone call away ! Don’t hesitate to rent this house and come to Oak Island (just don’t take the week I want !!)

Perfect Beach Home
To begin with, we don’t know why we haven’t rented this property before now! It was the ideal beach home for our family of 10. The Oak Island location, short walk to the beach, spacious rooms, house amenities, and pool offered everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Our grandchildren will never forget the week we spent and the fun time we had. We booked for next year before we left! Thank you Janet/Carson for being such accommodating property owners. Wonderful experience
This is a wonderful property with plenty of room. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the second seating area on the second floor. It was easy to tell this was a second home and not just a rental property.
The owners were amazing to work with and quick to answer our questions.
