Located in Princeville, this charming house for $563 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Enjoy Kauai's simple pleasures and grand landscapes right from home! From the moment you arrive, you immediately sense the Aloha spirit and the other-worldliness of Kauai's North Shore. Hanalei Bay Villas' surroundings are stunning and beyond beautiful; the unique charm, ideal location, and dramatic beauty provide an island experience to be treasured. The Layout: The home comfortably accommodates up to five guests. The villa is a traditional Hawaiian-style, two-story design with 1,365 sq ft of living space. Ultra high speed internet (268 Mbps) and all the comforts of home. To the South, the view looks over a lush green valley toward the rugged interior mountains with cascading waterfalls, shifting clouds, and brilliant rainbows. To the North, the home opens on to the shimmering blue Pacific. The scenic cliff overlook is a great place to take in sunset and to whale watch. These natural surroundings provide a dramatic backdrop to your island retreat; some of the most beautiful scenery on the island is right at home. The living space, covered lanai, beach closet, and half bath are on the upper/entry level. The lower level of the home has three bedrooms, two full baths, another covered lanai, and laundry area with full size washer/dryer. Primary bedroom has a Queen Tempur-Pedic platform bed and walk-in closet; 2nd bedroom has a king size bed and large closet; and office serving as the third bedroom has a twin bed and desk. Villa #29 sits atop a ridge-line allowing ocean trade winds to flow through the house keeping it fresh, bright, and comfortable. There are numerous louvered windows, sliding glass doors, solar shades, ceiling fans and several area fans throughout. The primary and second bedroom have A/C units for additional sleeping comfort if desired, and the 3rd bedroom has louvered bay windows with an ocean cross breeze. The Neighborhood: Beautiful beaches are within close walking distance. A short and steep foot trail leads down to Kenomene Beach (aka 'Hideaways'), ideal for basking on the warm golden sands or resting under the large shade trees. This 300' stretch of beach is divided by a rock outcropping and offers great snorkeling and coastal views. Pu'u Poa Beach on the eastern shore of the bay fronts 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay and can be accessed by an outdoor staircase. Follow the foot trail around the bay and, during low tide, you can wade across the Hanalei River to Hanalei Pier & Beach Pavilion. Within the community of Princeville you will also find gems to visit such as Queen’s Bath, Kaweonui Beach and Wyllie Beach. You can play the award winning Maka'i golf course, jog along the 3 mile path, practice sunrise yoga on the bluff, workout at the outdoor fitness circuit, visit the playground and play tennis at the nearby courts. Princeville Ranch offers private horsemanship lessons on 2,500 acres of private lands on the North Shore of Kaua'i and several artist and farmers markets take place throughout the month at Prince Albert Park. The Princeville Center just two miles away offers a grocery store, grab and go deli, wine market, convenience store, specialty boutiques, art galleries, full service restaurants and casual courtyard cafes. Just Down The Road: Princeville, nestled between Hanalei (4 miles W) and Kilauea (7 mi S), is central to all North Shore attractions and activities. Truly, all are within twelve scenic miles of the villa; including the quaint town of Hanalei, Limahuli National Tropical Botanical Gardens, the pristine Na Pali Coast and the Kalalau Trailhead, Kilauea Point Lighthouse & National Wildlife Refuge, and many more hiking trails and beautiful beaches to explore. This is a County Approved Visitor Destination Area (VDA). Our private home is registered with the Princeville Community Association as a vacation rental and in compliance with the State of Hawaii. Hawaii Transient Accommodations and General Excise Tax ID 055-964-2624-01.

This was a perfect house for our first visit to Kauai. The homeowners have thought of everything. They manage it themselves and put a lot of attention to detail into their home. The house was spotlessly clean and you really have everything you could think of (i.e. beach towels, umbrella, chairs, supplies like laundry detergent, etc). The location was also good, within walking distance to a golf course and some restaurants. We had a rental car and there was an assigned parking spot near the house for us. We will definitely recommend the villa to others.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s our 5th visit to the island and 3rd time renting through VRBO, and it was our favorite rental property by far.
The location was perfect, decoration of the house was very welcoming, and spacious enough for 5 of us. Appreciated their beach equipments and tumble water bottles which we used daily.
I wasn’t used to using an electronic stove top, but other than that, their kitchen is well equipped as well. Very comfortable stay.
Loved the mountain and the ocean views, walking distance to 1 Hotel and Hideaway beach.
We’ll definitely try to stay here again on our next visit. Thank you Donna!

Villa 29 was a great escape! The ocean out the front door and then the tropical jungle from the back lanai was breathtaking! The villa inside was just as special with everything one needs to experience a truly fun and relaxing vacation.

Donna is a great host. Her communication and attention to detail is top tier! We just got back and already long to be sitting back on the lanai. The location of this villa is prime. One side is a jungle and mountains with waterfalls. The other is a Cliffside ocean view the commands a crowd at sunset. However this site your front yard. The best shopping, beaches, views and restaurants are literally steps away from your Villa. Great for a photographer such as myself. With potential gardens and the queens bath at your doorstep. I didn't want to leave.

The location of the property is incredible! Views outside front door and back door are breathtaking. Home is well equipped with everything you need for your travels including cooking essentials (like oil, flour, sugar, and spices), beach gear (umbrellas chairs, coolers, and sunscreen), tp and paper towels, and some toiletries. Very comfortable accommodations. Communication with owner fast and reliable. Our family had the best time in Kauai and cannot wait to go back.

Second year in a row staying here.Great Property, great host! Property has all the items you can think of including beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, binoculars ( you get the drift!). Kitchen is well equipped with most items you can think of. Host is great and responds to all inquiries.

This is absolutely one of the best rental properties. You cannot beat enjoying coffee on the lanai with views of the mountains or hearing the ocean out the front door. Beach is just a short 5-10 minute walk. The house has every amenity you could wish for, including all beach gear. Donna and Chase were extremely accommodating and were so generous with a welcome birthday gift. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Vacation
We usually stay in our timeshare. This trip we tried VRBO (our first VRBO). The villa is beautiful along with the scenery. We will not be using our timeshare for Kauai for future trips but hopefully will be using this property.

Property is beautiful and well kept. It has all the necessary amenities you would ever need including bbq, outdoor activity gear and a kitchen with all the pots,pans utensils you need to create great meals. Owner was super responsive to all our queries. Great location and view. We have been to Princeville many times and this unit is now our favorite.

Very very satisfied with this Villa in Princeville- all around- location, in walking distance to the hideaway beach, which is great for snorkeling, a short drive to the beautiful beach in Hanalei, long sandy beach with nice waves and the most amazing setting; across lookout over the ocean; backing out to lush green and Mountain View’s, parking in front of the house; house has generous layout with very well stocked kitchen, that we used for majority of our meals, dining area, comfortable living room area , bedrooms comfortable, very much appreciated beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling gear; quite, private and lots of light; road in front of the house is quite, and with sidewalks for pleasant morning run; not much traffic; communication with host easy; supermarket close by and well stocked for all our needs; great place!!
