About this cottage rental
Nestled in Newbury Township, this lovely cottage for $170 per night is a great option for your next vacation. WELCOME to our renovated 2 bedroom cottage that is cozy, private, and comfortable. Stoneycreek Acres has been in the family for more than 50 years and we are carrying on the tradition of sharing this beautiful land with everyone. WE have chickens, ducks, and turkeys strutting in the farmyard for you to enjoy. Our 78 acres has 2 ponds for catch and release fishing, kayaking and paddle boating. We would love to give you a tour of the animals, show you the lay of our land and help you with anything you with to do in the surrounding area. There is a stocked kitchen, cozy queen master bedroom with closets, second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a sliding galss door out onto your private deck, and a comfy couch/air mattress in the living room. We have 2 SmarTVs in the living room and bedroom and high speed WiFi throughout the space. We love to welcome well-behaved pets (and their well-behaved masters). Come to see our friendly farm animals and enjoy our Northestern Ohio Slice of Heaven! Visit nearby Amish country or state parks. Close to 422 E/W and 44 N/S for easy access. Whether you come to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country or come to view all Geauga County has to offer, our cottage is the place for you. We have a 78 acre farm with our house, cottage and farm house (with 2 other rental spaces). There are a few local stores and shops for convenience, or you can drive 15 minutes in any direction to reach Chardon, Garrettsville, Chagrin Falls, or Mantua. Many of our guests come to see nearby county, state and Cuyahoga Valley National Parks. We are approximately 45 minutes from Cleveland and it's many museums, shopping, the zoo, theaters, venues, and events. Please come and enjoy a relaxing stay on our farm!

This lovely, well dressed cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful farm setting. You can have a little or a lot, it's up to you. We plan to return in the future and are grateful for a lovely stay. Communication is very responsive.

The cottage was super clean and well stocked. The furniture and beds were comfortable and in great shape. The cottage was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. Molly and Dave were friendly and nonintrusive. We would stay again when in the area..

Molly & Dave have created a lovely cottage on their farm. We loved the cottage decorations and they had the best food supplements including fresh eggs and zucchini bread. We loved watching the roaming turkeys, chickens and ducks. The back deck is private and peaceful. We'll be back!

Dave, Molly, Colton, Luke and Easton all went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were well taken care of. Tornados ripped through Ohio and were in the line of a super cell that caused a tree to fall and damage the cottage we stayed in - We also lost power too (along with 65,000 other people) Dave and Molly were on the scene and made our stay as comfortable as possible without the power, providing us with a generator and fixing the roof immediately. Their sons kept my son entertained while we were stuck because the roads were blocked, and felt like we were vacationing despite all the issues going on. The house was clean, provided all the amenities we could use (while the power worked) and would absolutely return in a heartbeat. The location is great too, being just a few minutes away from Lake Punderson. It’s worth coming back just to visit their family!

Adorable, clean guest house, with the bonus of fresh farm eggs and homemade Zuchinni bread. Perfect place to visit with your dog, as there were mown trails on the property for walks with your pup.

This is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting! Everything you need for a lovely stay is provided here - cookware and utensils, baking pans and more. Molly also provided breakfast items including homemade zucchini bread. The horse, donkey, ducks and chickens acted as our welcoming committee. Wonderful place to get away and feel right at home!

We loved our stay at this property. It was very clean, quiet, spacious and had everything we needed for our weekend. We loved walking around the property, and Molly and her family were so friendly and welcoming! We highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our time at the cottage. Everything was perfect and my little miniature poodle loved being around the farm animals. We also enjoyed chatting with the owners and their adorable kids. I hope we have other opportunities to stay here again!

This is a beautiful property. Very clean and well maintained with a newer deck on the back to enjoy morning coffee overlooking a pasture. Molly was very easy to communicate with and very responsive.

This home is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Much thought went into the details, both large and small, that made this home a joy. All of the things that have been missing in other properties we’ve stayed are included here. This is , hands down, the best appointed kitchen we’ve experienced in a vacation rental! It had every item we could have needed and a well stocked pantry so we could come in and cook a meal before ever heading to the store. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is amazing, and the whole place was incredibly clean (like spotless!). The farm is beautiful and Molly is clearly passionate about guests feeling welcome and cared for. She even has a basket of towels and blankets for your pets. ❤️ We are looking forward to staying here again next year.

The little cottage was so charming and a perfect home base for our adventures this summer. Molly and Dave were very helpful, super friendly and accommodating and full of good ideas on things to do and places to visit. The animals, the scenery, the fresh air, it couldn’t have been better. We would go again in a heartbeat. Easily one of my best experiences on Vrbo (and they’re all usually pretty decent, so that’s saying something!)

Great time with our kids celebrating their birthdays not too far from where they go to college. Great suggestion by Molly to see Nelson Ledges. Enjoyed our time walking around Chagrin Falls. Cottage was the perfect place to stay and we were able to bring our small dogs.

Cozy farm cottage
Very comfy, cozy cottage on a farm complete with pretty views and farm animals. The house was well equipped for cooking as well as relaxing. A short ride to the cute towns of Burton and Chagrin Falls, we would definitely stay again. Thank you, Molly and family, for your hospitality.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough. My sister, 12 year old niece, and my little dog Henderson met for an early Christmas celebration. The cottage is easy to get to; it is located on a little farm with scenic views in nearly all direction. We walked in to a twinkling Christmas tree and a fresh loaf of persimmon bread. The place was spotless and charming. They had set up a DVD player so my niece could watch Christmas specials and movies. When I realized I’d brought blue rays and asked about how to use their Netflix (which they have but I’m not very techy), they brought over a blue ray player and set that up!! The beds were comfortable and the second bedroom with sliding doors truly functions as a private second bedroom. The kitchen had everything we could want; there were even eggs for breakfast that I think were fresh from the farm.
Check in and check out were super easy. I forgot my wedding ring and live out of town, so Molly (the owner) is sending to me. Wonderful place, and very dog-friendly. We will be back!!

Nice place, had faults
Both of us fell going into bedroom because of step down, no warning, no curtains or blinds on main windows. Had to go to walmart for large bandages for cut my husband received when he fell.. not much of a patio or deck, couldn't see ponds.. Hard to find on dark rainy night.

Lovely Stay at the Cottage
The stay was perfect! The cottage is in a beautiful location on the farm and offers the perfect mix of quiet reading and walking time and a great location in order to pop over to Chagrin Falls for a wonderful meal and shopping. The hosts were great about communicating and the cottage was all that was promised and more! We would love to stay again in the future.

ladies weekend
the only thing we would change is more comfortable seating outside.our stay was wonderful.our host would answer any question we had and we asked if we could have some of their fresh eggs from the farm for breakfast.the host obliged us with fresh eggs for Sunday morning breakfast!the things we wanted to do were easily gotten to from our location.

What a great little cottage. there is a queen-sized bed (description was a little confusing on that), and the bath is between the 2 sleeping areas and you don't have to go out into a hall. bed was comfy, sheets super soft, kitchen well stocked with seasonings, condiments and gadgets like a nutri-bullet. Farms animals were friendly and entertaining but respectfully quiet at night and morning.

An easy get away
Our family needed a break from our Cleveland condo and Molly’s cottage delivered! We got a tour of the animals on her farm from her charming boys and enjoyed visiting Punderson and the geodesic dome. Molly was very responsive and accommodating. We’d love to go back.

Great family getaway
The whole family loved our stay at this cozy little cottage. It was great that we could bring our dogs too, and we all enjoyed our walks in the fields and woods. We loved seeing the farm animals, and the kids were thrilled to help Molly and her kids brush the donkey and horses. The wifi was great and we were able to stream movies with no problem. The sofa bed was very comfortable. It's not a traditional pull out with the thin mattress and springs. Instead it folds out so you are sleeping on the couch cushions--hard to describe but it was comfortable. We hope to come back again. There is no dishwasher but my kids said they won't mind washing dishes if they get to come back and see the horses and sweet little donkey!
