Just a fun week.

There were two families that stayed for the week, including 4 adults and 4 teenagers (ages 15-17). The house had plenty of room with good access to the water. The finished basement was a great hangout place for the kids. The house came with one kayak and we brought 4 inflatable paddle boards that we left under the house deck after each use. The common beach and swim dock was never really that busy. The water was very clean and we were able to catch some decent sized bass right near the property. The location was also ideal for day trips. We hiked, biked, and went tubing down the Saco River. Susan and Keith were very easy to work with. All in all a great trip.

Keith & Susan were amazing hosts! The property description was very accurate, great floor plan (4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms) and very close to the lake! Weather didn't cooperate, but the games in the house, the cozy fire place (in July) and the well equipped kitchen (better than any house I have ever rented) helped pass the time. All the appliances are in working condition, the game room was fun & the deck & gas grill would have been used more if the weather had permitted! Plan to be back to enjoy the lake at its fullest! Stayed over in July '20, hottest week of the year....Very close to the community beach. Close enough to see it, but also, you did not hear the other people on the beach while we were in the house, which was nice. The beach itself can fill up quickly (6 families or so), but plenty of room in the water for everyone to spread out.....there is a large boat dock and a swim raft to use. The beach was only "busy" on the weekend....mid-week, it was usually our group then occasionally another family. House did not have a/c, but there were at least 2 fans provided in each bedroom. One night was a bit warm, but the rest of the week, it was fine. Whenever it was warm, we were in the lake anyways. Great setup for two families, as there is a bunk bed room, a queen bedroom, and a full bath on the upper floor. A master, with a full bath, and another 1/2 bath on the main floor, and a 2 bed bedroom, full bath, and living room in the furnished basement...which 100% did not feel like a basement at all. Keith was easy to work with and gets back to you very quickly with any questions you have. Highly recommend

Everything was smooth and seemless. There was a problem with the fridge and Keith took care of it immediately and is an amazing and kind person. We hope to rent from him in the future! The lake was beautiful you won’t regret staying at his property!

The lakefront location is great. We did lots of swimming and took the kayak out several times. There are good hikes close by, and more hiking and paddling opportunities in Fryeburg and over the NH line in the Conway area. Grocery stores and other conveniences are close by in Bridgton, which is a nice place to lunch and shop. Mountain Road is great for running.We cooked nearly every night, and the only things we would recommend adding to the house are a few small kitchen items -- a garlic press, a better can opener, a brush for the grill, and a countertop dish drainer for salad bowls, carving knives and such. All the major things we needed were there, including a blender and plenty of flatware. Our only issue was an internet outage late in the week, which the owners promptly reset when we called them. Our family of 4 had more than enough space -- the house can easily accommodate groups of 6 to 8, with 4 bedrooms on 3 floors and 3.5 baths. Highly recommended!

Excellent location. Accommodations were just what we were looking for. Lake was refreshing and beautiful. House was very roomy and clean

We had a great stay over New Year's Eve. The view of the lake and of Shawnee peak was really nice. We had a few questions about the house after arrival & the owners were very responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean and had cleaning supplies available as well. I loved that they had pump hand soap in all of the bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements and dishware. One thing to note is that the amenities say that linens and towels are provided, but there is an extra charge for that. If you opt for the linens, you have to make the beds yourself, which I personally prefer. There is a lot of closet space to help keep things out of the way, which is great when you have a lot of people. We loved having the 3 levels of living space to accommodate everyone as well as the large dining room table where we could all eat together and play cards together. The Rinnai heaters worked great and the gas fireplace was convenient and cozy. The lower level did have a bit of a campy/musty smell, but this is not unusual for lake houses. It wasn't that bad & was masked easily with a candle or diffuser. Being close to Shawnee peak was really convenient for the skiers & the mountain looks so pretty lit up at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room for our extended family of 10. Great layout with the 3 levels. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect, right next to the community beach. The only issue we had was with the upstairs queen bedroom. The squirrels were very active at night dropping acorns on the roof! Pretty loud for sleeping! We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely rent this property again.

We had a great time at Susan and Keith's home. The location on the lake was beautiful and the home had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Access to the kayak was a real bonus! In addition, Susan and Keith were very responsive to our questions before the trip. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting Moose Pond!

We had a most wonderful week, vacationing at this property. The house is steps from the community beach, which was all our own during the weekdays. The layout of bedrooms was ideal for our 3-generation clan! All the amenities with the house made it a comfortable and inviting stay. The grandkids loved the games inside, while the fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and swimming in the lake were all greatly enjoyed. The location was also a great jumping-off point for day trips into the White Mountains and local hikes (recommend the All Trails smart phone app to find them). The owners are excellent communicators and we enjoyed dealing with them as much as we enjoyed their property. We'll be back!!!

Our stay here was an absolute joy. We spent several days just around the New Year. I am now also considering a summer vacation at this same home. BTW, brevity has never been my strong point… read away! For starters, it’s immediately apparent that the owners’ priority is a pleasant experience for their guests (from the very first point of contact throughout the entire stay). They are responsive, lovely, full of information to share about the property and the area in general… food, entertainment, insights, etc. The home is immaculate, tastefully decorated and furnished to be warm, welcoming, and comfortable. From the throw pillows to the bedding, all is so charming. Get the linen service, it’s worth it and so nice and fresh! Spacious and bright with a room layout and flow that accommodates time spent all together or some space apart. The photo’s do not deceive! Picture this… my husband and I are near 50 years age, no children of our own. You can imagine our “typical peace level” at home alone. Our travel posse for this trip included 2 other couples with children ranging 8yrs to 18yrs old and even day visitors, at one point, adding 2 toddlers to the mix. No lie… we were super comfortable the entire time! Treat yourself to this home! And, if you are doing the math (weekly rate vs hotel, etc.)… I can easily say that the option to eat and drink at home (vs all paid meals and drinks out) in the fully equipped kitchen and plentiful seating is a win/win! We enjoyed staying in this home. It was very clean and well equipped. The owners were great and so supportive even when I locked us out of the house during the week. The property manager was very kind and was able to get us the extra key and I did not lock us out again! Such a clean and comfortable house for our extended family - lots of privacy and lots of room for time together. The deck looks over the lake and swimming and boating areas are just steps away. Hikes to the summit of Pleasant Mt. with beautiful views close by. The home owner let us know about Thirsty Thursday at the pub, walking distance away at the ski resort, which was a nice change from eating in or having to drive.

We just stayed here for our honeymoon and the house and location was perfect... so quiet and relaxing but just a short drive to downtown Bridgton. Keith and Susan even left us a celebratory bottle of prosecco in the fridge with a sweet note. I highly recommend this house!!!

This home has been meticulously updated and is very clean! Modern ammenities include two, brand new, huge flat screen TVs, two router internet access and new appliances. All beds are comfortable as well! As a home base for skiing at Shawnee Peak all season it was perfect. Easy walk to SP baselodge. Unanticipated perk was skating on the pond from the beach which is 100 yards from front door. Snow shoeing was also a plus. Easy access to everything. The linen service was a great value. The owners are very friendly and responsive. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!

We spent two wonderful weeks at this lovely home on Moose Pond. Two sons came up from Florida to stay there with us, and they were thrilled with all the walking and hiking spots in the area. Our local kids and grandkids visited us there often, and there was plenty of room for everyone , especially because of the downstairs family room. We were so pleased with one floor living for ourselves, when we were there alone, plus lots of privacy when our sons were visiting. The house itself was spotless when we arrived, and was even nicer than it was described. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and roomy enough for several cooks to be working together. In summary, we had a wonderful time at this comfortable house in a beautiful, peaceful spot!

This property was spacious and clean and plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. The owner was very responsive when communicating and a pleasure to work with. We were about 25 minutes from the Fryeburg Fair and within 5 miles of downtown and local grocery stores. The lake was wonderful and could definitely see being here in the summer. Shawnee Peak skiing a stones throw away. Great property for any season. Thanks

Our whole family(3 families in total) rented this house. The best part was that each family had a floor with a bathroom, can be a huge time saver with 10 people. The kids(all under 13) really enjoyed the beach area, as it had a shallow area the gradually got deeper. There were plenty of life jackets and the house even provided tubes for the kids.

We always love staying in the Bridgton area especially on Moose Pond and this home is located in an area that made it very easy to enjoy a trip in to town. The home itself is very large and accommodating for families. The owners genuinely care that you have everything you need for a comfortable vacation. They were always available to answer any questions. There are 4 bedrooms, one of which is well suited for younger children. There is both a living room and family room which made it very nice to be able to spread out. The beach area is just steps away. While it was a busy shared beach the community of people were all very nice. We enjoyed the long dock that has a ladder at the end for quick dips to cool off. The swimming was wonderful. We were very glad the swim area wasn't roped off like some other shared beach areas are. Very nice home for a family vacation.

This house is set on a lake among a community of kind people, most of whom live there year round. It is accessible to many activities, but there is plenty to do without even leaving the driveway. We swam, played on the beach, went kayaking, grilled on the deck, watched movies, played board games, went for walks to name a few. The owners were very helpful during our stay. There is a binder full of helpful information about the house and local activities. The house was clean and well stocked including a baby gate, fans, life jackets and board games. There is even some condiments and spices in the kitchen. We had 11 people in this home (6 adults, 3 kids, 2 babies) and it was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The house was right on Moose Pond, and right at the foot of Shawnee Peak. Exactly what we were looking for for four adults and six kids to have a great week of vacation. Plenty of space, plenty of entertainment, everyone had a great place to sleep. The adults could be adults and the kids can be kids. And so convenient to all of Maine's winter attractions. A great getaway spot.
