Love Madeira and the place is in a great location. Unfortunatley, after booking our non-refundable five-night stay we were charged an additional $140 for an "additional guest fee". Even though the Vrbo is listed for four guests, he charged us an addition $140 because we had three total guests and the base rate price is only for two guests. Good luck if you have any more than two guests because you will be charged almost double for your stay and will not be able to cancel after you booked it.

Duplex apartment in the historic center of Funchal, in a pedestrian street, near Cathedral, next to the marina, very well served by transports (restaurants, bars, gardens, wine cellars, supermarkets and pharmacies.
Have a bathroom, living room and kitchen with oven, fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle, washing machine, internet access, iron and ironing board.
The upper floor has 4 single beds, cable TV and access to the roof where there is an interesting view of the city and recreational harbor.
