We had a wonderful stay at Lowena Cottage and could not have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Looe.
I came with my mum for a little Bank Holiday getaway, and the cottage was the perfect place for us, it truly felt like a home away from home, cosy, comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed and even many thoughtful extras.
The owners were fantastic. They were very quick to respond to any questions we had and were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, which made everything easier.
The location was also excellent for us. The cottage is around a 10-minute walk from the train station and about 10 minutes from the town centre, making it very convenient for exploring Looe without needing the car.
As mentioned in the description, the cottage is situated at the top of a fairly steep hill. This was not a problem for us as we enjoy walking and hiking, and we only had backpacks with us. However, I would definitely recommend taking a taxi or follow owner instruction if you have heavy luggage or mobility difficulties.
On a rainy afternoon and evening, we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the cosy living room, watching TV, reading and simply enjoying the lovely view. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day exploring Looe.

The only reason I have rated 9/10 is because the parking in Looe is so difficult, but this was not a reflection of the property- and there were great instructions about parking in the booking notes, a lovely stay :-)

The accommodation is very close to railway station, also the housekeeper lady is very helpful, she answers phone calls and gives helpful local advises , we really appreciate it.
