Very peaceful with far-reaching countryside views. Working farm with horses, dogs and peacocks around the place.
Homely barn conversion, comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. Owners and staff very welcoming. Lots of lovely walks right on the doorstep.
Sadly, the sofa was rather uncomfortable.

Nice working farm and logging, very quiet and nice local walks comfy bed. Dog friendly Owner very friendly nice log burner. Had several peacocks which was interesting for our dog, as it was a new experience for her
The sofa bed is really uncomfortable as mentioned by others in the visitors book which was a shame, garden is open and not enclosed

A home made cake and all beverage needs on arrival plus host popping by to welcome us. Views were brilliant and watching the peacocks from the window. Great log fire

The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. There was a homemade lemon drizzle cake on arrival which was very nice, and I found the peacocks very entertaining.
The freezer didn't work, the sofa wasn't very comfortable and a lot of the kitchen utensils etc were dirty or greasy. The cupboards were very musty and there was an excessive amount of crockery but no sharp knives for cooking. The TV wasn't easy to use and smoke came out from the underneath of the woodburner. There were no instructions about recycling, or what to do with the bed linen/towels and no mention of the noise of power tools at 8am most mornings which woke me up. On my last night, there was a power cut and an alarm under the stairs went on all night and there was no way of switching it off, so had to vacate early as the noise became too much.
