We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kankariya Heritage! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family with their warm hospitality. The heritage decor of the rooms gives you a true taste of Rajasthani culture while still offering modern comforts. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Clock Tower and Toorji Ka Jhalra. The real highlight, though, is the rooftop restaurant: dining with a breathtaking, illuminated view of Mehrangarh Fort while listening to live folk music was the magical high point of our trip. Highly recommend staying here if you visit Jodhpur!

The staff was helpful- the rooftop is wonderful- they have a live musician and complimentary tea and coffee every evening.
The room was not as in the pictures. We chose the most expensive room- but it appeared much smaller- later we saw another neighbouring room- same category that was much larger.
Also the sheets on the bed were torn, the blankets and linens were dirty. There were insects. The hotel managers told us it was because we had food in our room. I assume that to be true, but even then after throwing out the food, and the staff claiming they had cleaned it thoroughly, ants kept coming on my bed every night. It was not comfortable to sleep. Also if food is such a problem, they should have an advisory for the guests while checking in that food will attract ants and they will not be able to clear them.
The room was dated in general, and small, and not worth what we paid for it in my opinion. Breakfast was average with limited choices and after the first day we skipped it.

An absolute gem in the heart of Jodhpur's old city! We recently stayed at Kankariya Heritage and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to the Clock Tower and Sardar Market, making it super convenient to explore the blue city. Our room was clean, charming, and full of historic character.
The real highlight, though, is the rooftop restaurant. Dining with a direct, unobstructed view of the Mehrangarh Fort lit up at night was magical. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommend this boutique hotel if you want an authentic and memorable Rajasthani experience!"

There are lots of problems with this hotel: 1. Access to the hotel, 2. The rooms are not soundproof, 3. Noise from dogs howling outside and other residents in the hotel interferes with sleep at night.
