Situated in Como, this lovely condo for $432 per night is a great option for your next break. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable, newly renovated, spacious, perfectly located within the town, full equipped attic for your holiday or your working period in Como, you are in the right place. This charming home is located in the magnificent city of Como and is only five minutes from the lake. You are within walking distance of all that this lovely lake side city has to offer which includes restaurants, shopping, bars, train stations, supermarkets, museums and churches. You do not need a car to visit the city because the property is located in the historic city center. However a private, secure parking place near the apartment is included in the price. Having parking in town is a great perk because in Como parking spaces are rare and expensive. You will find all the comforts of a real home from home such as bed linen, towels, a new plasma 42 inches TV, internet access, dvd player, air conditioning, underfloor heating, balconies in each rooms, a big shower and a huge bathtub. The apartment is on the fourth floor. In the building there is a new lift until the third floor and then a spiral staircase to reach the apartment on the fourth floor. This condo was in a perfect location...we could walk to the lake, the main square, etc very easily. Everything was clean, and the condo was lovely.

Excellent host1 Fully equiped with weekly clening service. Perfect location and short walking distance to Grocery stores, Trains and Ferry. Host provided helpful information on area and transportation.
Well eqiped kitchen with washer and dryer. Very clean and all furniture and beds were comfortable.

Absolutely enjoyed our five days and nights in old Como. This part of Como is so quaint and full of restaurants, boutiques, narrow roads, and alleyways. Everything was so clean. The lake area was undergoing renovations which was a disappointment.

First and most importantly, Sveva was an amazing host! She kept in contact with me on What's APP. She is the kind of host you may want to invite for coffee.
The apartment is very close to the train station and at the edge of town in Como.
It had an elevator but some stairs up to it, so this may not be a place for everyone. A wheelchair guest would not be able to get up to it. Unfortunately, this is the case in much of Europe.
The apartment had plenty of room for 6 and even had a full kitchen, dining area and washer/ dryer. It was very clean. It was stocked with everything you would need to cook or have coffee.
The new architecture and decor was really lovely.
Sveva has a gem of an apartment to use as a VRBO property. Como is an amazing town on the water. I may have to go and stay again!

We stayed at Sveva's wonderful property on the edge of the historic district of Como for a week. It was a multi-generational experience including grandparents, parents and 3 teenage girls. The unit is a true 3 bedroom / 2 bath floor plan, a large family rm, large dining area, fully equipped kitchen and a laundry rm. If you have a vehicle you will find a gated space for your one car...a major plus in the historic area. The property was very clean, everything works and the unit is large enough to provide space for everyone!
The property is the only unit on the top floor (4th) and this part needs explanation; the first 3 floors are serviced by an elevator which you ride to the 3rd floor and then go up a spiral staircase to your unit on the 4th floor. It could be a challenge carrying luggage up or down those stairs...but the unit is worth it. We were the grandparents in this mix so we didn't have to move any luggage around anyway!
Everything you came to see in Como and beyond is within easy walking distance to the ferry, private boat tours up and down the lake, train stations, restaurants...you name it!
The biggest compliment you can give a VRBO property is whether you would rent it again. YES we would without hesitation. It met all of our expectations and Sveva the owner was wonderful!

Loved our stay in Como City Centre. We had five adults, and the property was perfect for us with respect to size, layout, functionality and comfort. Beautiful and secure building that is very close to everything and next to a great bar - Como Bar. We had no issues with the circular staircase, but if you have mobility issues, it may be a problem for you. If you go to Como in the summer, be sure to plan any ferry rides in advance if possible. The lines for the ferry are very long and frustrating, and timed tickets are not always guaranteed. Also, access to the lake is limited - not many beaches or swim areas. If you want to swim in the lake (which I highly recommend), rent or charter a boat. We rented a little 40Ph Bow rider that easily accommodates 6 people, and took it out on the lake ourselves. (cheaper than chartering with captain). The lake is very easy to navigate. We would stay in this property again, and have already recommended it to friends.

Definitely the place to stay in Como. Perfect location, easily walkable to everything. Sveva was great helping us with dinner reservations and where to go and what to see. We definitely will stay there when we go back to Como.

This apartment is very convenient in the historic center with great restaurants within 5 minutes walking! Easy walk to the pier to catch the boat to tour other places on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back.

Spacious with Great Location
My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for 3 days. Wish it would have been longer! Everything was perfect for our visit. The communication before the trip was great and there was constant contact up until Sveva personally greeted us at the location. The private parking yard was a huge plus for us as we had just took collection of a new car in Germany. The location was outstanding. Tons of coffee shops and restaurants near by. We always felt safe walking around. 5 minute walk to the water taxi to visit other cities on Lake Como. The amenities in the condo were terrifice. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. This was the perfect spot to stay on Lake Como!

I would not only recommend Como Sweet Como as lodging but also Lake Como as a vacation destination if you are having any doubts!! Four great friends ranging in age from 57-69 years old stayed at Como Sweet Como from 7/18-7/24/2018 and we loved every minute!!

A lovely stay in Como
This property was modern, clean, and convenient to seeing Como and the Lake Como area. Lovely views of Como and beyond from the roof. Having a full kitchen, as well as laundry facilities was great. Within walking distance of the train and ferry stations.

Beautiful and well located apartment in the historic center of Como.
This was a beautifully designed and spacious apartment as well as furnished well. Sveva, the owner, provided us with some of our special needs and was attentive throughout our stay. There were detailed instructions in the apt for how to use the coffee machine, washer and dryer and everything was very well thought out. Our family was very comfortable there and we could not have been happier with our stay in this location.

Como, Italy Best location
This 3 bedroom apartment was excellent. Location could not have been better. Within blocks of everything. Never used the car while there. Apartment was clean and fully equipped in kitchen. Owner, Sveva, was available if we had questions, and provided recommendations for us. The only negative that I would say is the one flight of winding stairs that would be difficult for someone that has any disabilities or flexibility to manuever, and for transporting luggage.

Clean, modern and spacious
We spent 3 nights in Sveva's apartment, Como Sweet Como. First, Sveva was very helpful getting us oriented to the area and how things worked. The apartment was bigger than we needed for 3 people but we knew that going in. Friends of ours had stayed here previously and recommended it and they were right. It was awesome. Our only concern was getting the AC cool enough for us (the thermostat remotes were confusing).
Sveva had wine, fresh bread and cherries waiting for us on arrival. It was a rally nice touch and most appreciated after a rough flight into Milan. Overall we give Como Sweet Como very high ratings and would come back again.

Perfect Getaway
This was an absolutely perfect place for us during our time in Como. Very clean and comfortable. Great location to train and ferries. The owner was so much help - she even picked up us from the station because it was raining.

Lovely, clean apartment in great location close to train station
This was a fantastic spot, and the owner was wonderfully helpful -- picking up our group of 4 at the train station upon arrival, and then taking us back when we left. She provided helpful ideas for our Lake Como boat ride! You can walk to everything in old Como from this location -- shopping, groceries, restaurants and the sights. Would stay here again, hopefully!

Great stay in Como
Recently stayed at Como Sweet Como with friends and the apartment proved very comfortable and well located. Sveva met us on arrival and shows us the apartment and provided excellent local advice. The apartment itself was as listed, well equipped for six people and very well presented. The apartment is on the fourth floor - there is a lift to the third then a tight spiral staircase inside the apartment to reach to living areas. While the staircase is narrow, it did not detract from our stay. The apartment is situated in the centre of como with shops and restaurants all in close proximity and walking distance to the two train stations and the waterfront for cruises on Lake Como. Sveva provides a very comprehensive guide to the local area which proved very useful. All in all, a great apartment in a great location. High recommended

Would give 10 stars if possible!
Como was the last stop of our 12 day tour across Italy and it was absolutely the best. Sveva, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the reservation process and offered numerous suggestions leading up to our arrival. The apartment was the best of all the places we stayed, with a comfortable gathering area in the living area, comfortable beds, washer and dryer, and all the amenities you could ask for. It's an easy 5-10 minute walk to shops, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Walk to the pier to catch the ferry for Lake Como is about 15 minutes. Sveva also met us at the train station and helped us get to the apartment. There is a lift that takes you to the 3rd floor. The spiral staircase to the 4th floor apartment was a little challenging for a couple of our group with aging knees but we managed. Can't say enough about the stay and the owner...we most certainly recommend both.

Exceptional property in lovely city!
We were traveling with our four year old twin boys and their grandparents. This property met out requirements exceptionally well. The apartment is spacious, bright, and beautifully designed. As my wife and I are both architects, we enjoyed staying in a nicely designed place with attention to aesthetic detail. It is a lovely interjection of new and old. The access elevator even has an all glass enclosure!
There were baskets of toys which kept our boys entertained over our 10 day stay. The overall configuration accommodated children nicely.
The unit's proximity to Como's old city, waterfront and other amenities was perfect and just as stated in Sveva's description. Sveva was a gracious hostess throughout our stay. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return on future trips to Como.

amazing stay
Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful time at Sveva's apartment in Como. It's a very comfortable, large space. Sveva arranged transport for us from the airport and then met us at the apartment with a bottle of Chianti, not a bad way to start a vacation!
The apartment in the old town, so it's very walkable to all tourist attractions, the funicolare that goes up the mountain to hiking trails, and the boats to other towns on the lake. It's also a 5-min walk to a well-stocked Carrefour supermarket, and an 8-min walk to the train, should you want to do a day trip to Milan or Lugano.

I have come away feeling refreshed and happy that I have so many wonderful memories of Como.
The apartment is everything you would wish for, it's light, airy, comfortable and feels like home. We had no worries at all whilst there as the apartment is very safe and conveniently located within the beautiful historic part of Como. The owner Sveva is lovely and very helpful. Como is also very centrally located and has some wonderful shops. If you stay here you will really feel that you have had a holiday .

The perfect place to stay while you explore Como and all the delightful towns around the lake . Sveva was the ideal hostess providing all the extra little touches like a bottle of wine, chocolates and biscuits on arrival and leaving a book of restaurant suggestions and recommended places to visit. The flat was beautiful with everything in it that you would need and it was a joy to come
home to it each evening after a busy day of sightseeing. The bakery at the end of the street was a particular favourite and their quiches and a bottle of wine was the perfect way to relax and plan the next day's adventures.
