Located near Bigfork’s lively main street, Electric Avenue, and backing to the beautiful Swan River, Minipaw Landing at The River offers the ideal opportunity for enjoying the town and its endless array of surrounding attractions. Recently remodeled to include a luxurious master suite with new bathroom, the two-bedroom, two-bath condo makes it easy to rest and relax at home or head out on a new adventure at a moment’s notice. Nearly 1,000 square feet, the single-level design is located on the ground level and showcases an open-concept living and kitchen area with custom cabinetry, limestone countertops, farmhouse sink, Sub-Zero wine fridge, mini-refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all other standard kitchen amenities. Recently added KitchenAid appliances including a convection microwave oven, 4 burner induction cooktop, and a set of refrigerator/freezer drawers. Enjoy meals on the deck with a brand-new Weber grill and tranquil views of the Swan River, towering trees and occasional wildlife. The whitewater sounds of the river provide an unparalleled ambiance. For added convenience, we’ve added a brand-new full-size Whirlpool washer and dryer set. The master suite has been remodeled to include a wet bar, microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker along with newly designed custom master bath graced with classic black-and-white mosaic tile. Beamed ceiling, crown molding, original wood flooring sanded and stained, new paint, custom blackout drapes and heating and air-conditioning lend comfort and style. At Minipaw Landing, you’ll feel as though you have traveled far into the wilderness. From just outside your window, the Swan River flows into Bigfork Bay, which feeds Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. But step out front and you will discover that you are only one short block from Bigfork’s historic downtown district, where restaurants, shops, galleries, boutiques, the Swan River Nature Trail, and the popular Bigfork Summer Playhouse are sure to make you want to return. During the summer months, a couple of nearby establishments host outdoor live music a few days a week. It’s a great way to experience some local live music. Being the small town that Bigfork is, means that music is bound to travel and if you’re not in the mood for a show, we’ve made sure to include ceiling fans, white-noise machines and sound dampening drapes in both bedrooms to help with a good night’s sleep. Depending on the time of year, you can enjoy the small-town charm of a Fourth of July Parade, the Whitewater Festival on the Swan River’s Wild Mile, the Bigfork Car Show, a few rounds at the Eagle Bend Golf Course, keeping fit at the Montana Athletic Club, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding and the Bigfork Rodeo. Virtually every opportunity to get closer to nature is right at your doorstep, including biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, jet-skiing and canoeing. Charter sightseeing and fishing boats, relax at the Flathead Lake Lodge, hit the slopes of Blacktail Mountain and Big Mountain for snowboarding and skiing, or venture into the Jewel Basin wilderness area for hiking in Wayfarers State Park or along the Swan River Nature Trail. Minipaw is a mere 40 miles to the awe-inspiring Glacier National Park, where soaring mountains, deep valleys and mirror-like lakes embellish countless hiking, camping, boating, cross-country skiing, sightseeing and tourism destinations. For a dramatic view of the park, Going-to-the-Sun Road is without compare. The condo was very clean, beds comfortable, kitchen well supplied, and outside deck overlooking the river was wonderful. Our only issue was nighttime noise from the bar across the street. The condo has white noise machines, which definitely help, but they don’t completely block the sound.

Beautiful River Location
Beautiful River Location
The property is excellent, and our stay was comfortable. The only down side was the noise (loud music)from the Garden Bar until 2am. I must be getting old. Loved the river view with a few kyackers going by, and watching the deer.

High quality, everything! Furnishings, bedding, appliances and amenities. Incredible location, the view off of the back porch and the ease of access to pure joy. We loved everything about the property and the owner's too. Thank you, it was better than imagined!

This was my first experience using VRBO and I’m grateful it began with this unit. From the time I decided I would take the unit the communication was as good as it gets. We were given great travel instructions to the unit from the GPI airport and that meant a lot because it was our first time to Montana, it was late and also raining. Everything worked as planned when we arrived, the entry lock, WiFi and etc. As for the unit itself, it is like new, so much so I thought maybe we were the first guests.
