Located in Gulfport, this attractive house for $178 per night is a great option for your next break. Check our calendar! This adorable home is 100 yards to the beach! Older with great bones!! Cleanest, and nicest around! FULLY furnished! Everything you need to feel just like you are at home! A very short walk down the street to the Art District, shops Tuesday Fresh Market, restaurants, art galleries and more! This 2 bedroom home is the owner's with three 42" HD flat screen cable televisions. If you have specialty shows you like to keep up with, Netflix, etc., we suggest bringing your own fire-stick. Enjoy the front sunroom, beautiful large landscaped private courtyard, and front deck with water view, porch swing, cable, Wi-Fi and shared laundry. Brand new large tiled shower just completed. Both Bedrooms have comfy new queen beds. The living room has comfy chair and a double couch recliner for your comfort and a great couch. We can provide a queen blow up mattress for extra guests. This home sleeps up to four comfortably, but can accommodate six. Walk to Gulfport's quaint stores, fresh markets, gourmet restaurants, city library, Senior Center, little theater. Nightly dancing at the historic Casino. Enjoy the beach activities, volleyball, swimming, children's playground, Gulfport Recreation Center, or fishing from the pier. For relaxation, just enjoy the peaceful beach and swing on your front deck. You can cook out on the gas grill in your huge adjoining private shared courtyard. The beautifully landscaped courtyard accommodates you and visiting guests easily with plenty of seating. For security purposes, we have "outdoor only" front and side of home monitoring for security and storm/hurricane purposes. Only 15 minutes to Tropicana Field and Downtown St. Petersburg. Discover Florida's best-kept secret...Gulfport! We are right down the street from all the activity in town yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Really is the absolute perfect location! You will love it! The historic Gulfport Casino is an event venue, If you like gambling, check out the Hard Rock Casino, it’s only 37 minutes away. Dogs under 35 lbs. are considered (just ask us) with restrictions and a pet cleaning fee. Sorry, but absolutely no kitty cats allowed. The Blue Bayou was a great place to stay in Gulfport. The home is just as it appears in the pictures and it was very clean. It is walking distance to restaurants and shops and is across the street from the beach area.
Our host, Kelly, made check in super easy and texted us to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was going smoothly.
The kitchen is fully stocked. It is one of the most well stocked kitchens of any rental we have stayed in (we travel often). There were K Cups and regular coffee on hand, which is always appreciated.. Any pot, pan, container, or utensil you could need is available.
They even provided beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, and a small soft sided cooler. It is a quick drive to any of the bigger beaches or tourist areas.
The coin operated laundry, which they are upfront about, is a strange situation. It was odd to need $4 in quarters to be able to throw in a load of clothes. If you are a larger group or staying longer, make sure you have some quarters with you. There are plenty of kitchen and bath towels provided, so you don't need to worry about running out!
The home is in a great neighborhood - we walked all over at all times of the day and night. Everyone is very friendly.
Kelly was a great host and I highly recommend staying at one of her properties. She shared great information about the community, restaurants, and shops which made our stay more fun.

Thank you Kelly for making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable! The shared patio was wonderful for spending time with our extended family who stayed on the other two units. It was close to downtown, bars and restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Kelly was very accommodating and easy to work with! We look forward to staying again.

My wife and I took our son and his girlfriend for a post college graduation vacation. The house is in a fantastic location. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars that make Gulfport amazing, this is very much appreciated by the just over 21 part of our group. I should also mention that Tampa Bay is right across the street with a nice beach for evening strolls. Communication with the owners was flawless and easy. During our stay we experienced zero issues and had a great time. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone and can assure you we will book another stay here again.

This property was the perfect location! It was within walking distance to food and festivities yet quiet and peaceful. We saw dolphins along the beach, a manatee, and enjoyed the bench swing in the evening as the sun was setting. Awesome kid playground across the street and daily beach volleyball with locals. We were 15 minutes to Treasure Island beach, St John’s Pass, Madeira Beach and Fort Desoto State Park. Awesome location, out of the tourist craziness and within a short drive to all of it. Loved this little home!

I was traveling with my dog and found this area very dog friendly. A short walk to restaurants and bars. Nice beach across the street on Boca Ciega Bay. Very clean and decorated nicely. I would surely come back.

My wife and I stayed here for a week while visiting family. The property and area were perfect. Gulfport has a similar feel to the Keys 20 years ago. The rental matches the area. Its location makes it easy to walk to Beach Blvd and a short drive to St. Pete beach. The property owners were great at communicating and provided everything we could have needed. We would not hesitate staying here again.

This is a delightful home with a fabulous location. You can walk to shops, great restaurants and the beach. Loved the deck for Happy Hour and early morning coffee in order to watch Gulfport go by. Hosts were excellent, great communication and think of everything to make your visit comfortable. Wonderful experience.

This was our 2nd winter at Blue Bayou and hope to get back again. The home is in the perfect location for sightseeing and also for just relaxing on the beach and walking to the convenient restaurants and shopping. We hated to leave but our roots are still in IL. Kelly and Keith are wonderful and caring hosts. Robert and Margie, the property mangers are nearby and it feels like we are coming home to friends when we pull in the driveway. Comfortable beds and fabulous shower. They do so much to make your stay stress free and enjoyable.. Thank you from Deb and Steve

It’s easy to see why Kelly & Keith have the designation of “premier host” with VRBO. Everything you could possibly need has been thought of. Cottage is homey and charming. Property is steps from beach yet quiet and restful. An easy walk to downtown shops. Communication with hosts was excellent. Definitely hope to stay here again.

My husband and I were celebrating our 5 th wedding anniversary and choosing this location, was the best decision! It was quiet and eventful
( if you chose eventful). The beach was wonderful and peaceful and walking distance to restaurants and ice cream!
It was a wonderful weekend! So easy to work with hosts and very clean VRBO! A thoughtful gift was there, upon arrival! Lovely!!

Sister Trip Success
What a great stay! They thought of everything. There were personalized little gifts for me, my sister, and my son. Lots of towels and beach supplies. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of. We loved being able to see the water and walk across the street to the beach. The hosts were friendly and extremely prompt with communication. I was able to fit a pack and play in both room.

Our plane was part of the fiasco that stranded thousands of people! We got stuck in Houston and was unable to stay the 1st two nights then was not allowed to stay our 3rd night per the owners b/c they gave us a small refund…even tho we paid for all 3 nights. Overall very disappointing!

We loved our stay at the Blue Bayou cottage, part of a group of three cottages called “Beach Relaxmore”. The house had everything we needed for an extended stay from super comfortable furniture to a fully stocked kitchen. The cottage is across the street from a park and municipal beach, and there is a lovely view of Boca Ciega Bay from the living room, the sunroom, and especially the front deck. I often enjoyed drinking my coffee while sitting out on the front deck. There is also a very comfortable shared sitting area outside, which includes a grill. There are many excellent restaurants a short walk away, and the live music scene was wonderful! There is also a street market on Beach Boulevard every Tuesday, with artists and food vendors. The Gulfport community is so fun, and the Blue Bayou is perfectly located for visitors to experience all Gulfport has to offer. We will be back!

Home away rom home!
From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were home. Nothing can be more important than this when staying somewhere. The house is generously well appointed and fun to be at. Our Golden Retriever was very happy too. Great hosts and location as well. Gulfport is a wonderful place to stay and so is the Blue Bayou! Thank you so much Kelly and Keith!
