This rental property was great. Very cool vibe, very clean, had everything we needed. Great location in the heart of Gulfport yet still felt private and set apart from everything happening on a busy weekend. Communication with August was excellent and he clearly cares about making his guests comfortable and well cared for.

As so many other reviewers have commented, this was a 10 out of 10 experience! This is a charming, beautiful place which well-representes the beachy, bohemian, artistic vibe of Gulfport. It was exactly what you would hope to find in this quaint, historic and laid-back neighborhood. The photos are perfectly representative of the property. We loved having our 2nd floor, shaded patio and also enjoyed sitting on the main house front porch to people watch and enjoy a beverage - it was like stepping back in time when neighbors waved and smiled - everyone in Gulfport is happy and having fun (tourists and locals alike). As others have also stated, the bed is SUPER comfortable - no expense was spared on that bed! Communication from the host was flawless, check in and check out was seamless and included all the southern hospitality and grace you could ask for. We will absolutley return! :)

Location right in the center of Gulfport is ideal and the deck was lovely for coffee and cocktails. The rest of the place needs significant improvement. The entry gate was difficult and we used our own WD40 to make it more workable. The shower didn't drain properly. Two adults/two bath towels for 4 nights. The bedroom fan only worked if the wall switch was on but you couldn't use the pull to turn off the fan light so you couldn't run the fan at night. Plenty of plates but minimal glasses and coffee cups. The main room A/C didn't work. The place wasn't particularly clean, although we paid a cleaning fee. The decoration is shabby/chic but more shabby than chic. For the cost of the nightly rental, you can do much better. The owner/agent isn't investing enough time or effort in the property.
