About this house rental
Nestled in Martin City, this lovely house for $257 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to The Bear Den townhouse at Lazy Bear Lodging! Come and relax in the Rocky Mountains in the town of Hungry Horse. Our townhouses are located 10 miles (12 minute drive) from the west entrance to Glacier National Park and located in the northern portion of the Flathead Valley. Our building is on 1.5 acres and borders Forest Service property. Inside the townhouse you will find 2 queen beds, one with a log bed frame and the other has a canoe boat frame. The living room sofa pulls out to a queen sleeper sofa. This townhouse sleeps 6 plus has a playard/pack 'n play for a little traveler. The living room has a 55" Smart TV and Blu-ray/DVD player and DISH Cable. The TV is on a swivel mount and can be easily rotated. The large bathroom has a double sinks and a full tub/shower combo. All towels and bedding are supplied for your stay. The fully equipped kitchen includes all dishes, pots and pans, measuring cups/spoons, and baking pans. Outside enjoy your private fire pit to roast marshmallows by and picnic tables to dine in the great outdoors. Also you'll find a play house and swing set for children to enjoy. BBQ on your front deck to enjoy cooking in the great outdoors. Also available is a high chair, plastic utensils, cups and pack 'n play to be used if you have small children accompanying you. We have key codes for access to the town house, you can arrive and check in anytime after 3PM. We ask that you check out by 11AM. ** Please note: We reserve the right to decline requests leaving 2 day gaps in our calendar** We have 2 additional townhouses attached units that are located on our property that can also be reserved for your stay. Attached town house units: Trout Run-VRBO# 694575 and Moose Creek-VRBO# 707265 We ask that you be considerate of the adjoining renting neighbors. Please be mindful of wildlife in the area including putting trash in bear/wildlife proof trash bins. No camping on property. We do ask for a signed rental agreement which outlines the terms and restrictions of our townhouse.

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. Laura was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. When we arrived the cabin was exactly as pictured, clean and had everything you could think of. Coolers, ice packs, a full kitchen, plenty of towels for the week. Beds were so comfortable. Location is perfect! Minutes from Glacier, Columbia Falls and close to Whitefish to enjoy dinner in the evening. We loved our stay at Lazy Bear!

The Christiana's keep these cabins in top shape, everything was extremely clean. Gas grill was perfect for saving a couple bucs. Host Laura was always quick to respond to my many emails even after our stay. You can't go wrong staying here. Just minutes from the west gates of glacier and in my opinion Hungry Horse is the best town in the area. Also my thanks to keeping a can of bear spray for us to borrow, we nearly needed it.
It was an amazing vacation we saw moose, bears (one too close), deer, goats, sheep, osprey, eagles and tons of little critters. Only thing missing was a golden eagle oh well next time.
We will definitely be planning to stay here on our next visit. The comfiness of this cabin is perfect to come back to after a long day of hiking or rafting.

We couldn't believe the cabin stayed cool during the day with just the curtains pulled, but it did. The fans worked to move some air, ceiling fans would be my only suggestion to make it better.
All appliances worked well and were so clean.
The decor was really delightful. We appreciated the provided bear spray to take on our hikes. We did encounter bears twice while hiking, but luckily never had to use the spray. We made such awesome family memories and can't wait to go back to Montana!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Bear Den. The communications with Laura were great and highly responsive. The cabin was immaculate, for someone who is very fussy about cleanliness. The cabin was well-equipped for cooking our meals and beautifully decorated. Great location for Glacier National Park. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Home sweet cabin
This was a great place to stay. It was clean, quiet, close to town and had everything plus provided. Spices, oils, ice maker, grill just to name a few. We will recommend to others.

Nice Place!
Great location for Glacier Park and surrounding area. Clean and well equipped. Even a can of bear spray for hikes in the forest! Just far enough off Hwy 2 to be quiet and serene.

Perfect retreat
Owners did a great job renovating this building. It was exactly as advertised. Great location near Glacier west entrance and Columbia Falls. Beds were super comfortable (especially important after a long day in the park). Front porch faces west, letting us enjoy a drink while grilling and watching the sunset.

Perfect West Glacier Lodging
We thoroughly enjoyed 8 nights in Bear Den! The location is a short drive to Glacier's West Entrance as well as area towns for shopping. Our two bedroom cabin unit was perfectly clean, beautifully decorated, updated with thoughtful amenities, and home-like comfortable. The owners are very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend this property!

We Loved Staying at the Lazy Bear
The Bear Den was adorable with the Bear motif throughout. The owner even provided “extras” such as seasonings, olive oil, etc. we appreciated that. The fact that the ice machine was on the kitchen counter and not in the refrigerator was not pointed out in the info and we missed it for a couple days because it looks like a bread maker and we were definitely not baking bread!! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely little VRBO with easy access to Glacier. Very tastefully decorated and well stocked kitchen supplies. Would definitely rent again. Master bedroom mattress could use replacing.

Great location for West Glacier
We stayed at Lazy Bear 4 nights. It was clean and comfortable. Laura was very responsive. It’s only about 10 minutes from the West entrance to Glacier. It was a perfect place to stay. We saw a deer in our backyard. My 8 year old daughter loved the place too!!! I’d stay there again!

Perfect location to visit Glacier
My family of 7 stayed at the Bear Den for 5 nights while visiting Glacier. The house is clean with beautiful wooden furniture, cute bear accessories, and everything we needed. My little ones especially enjoyed the playhouses and swingset our back! There were plenty of towels and linens, a high chair, porta crib and even a basket of toys. The only thing I missed was a washing machine, but there is a laundromat next to the grocery store down the street. It’s only about 15 minutes to the west entrance to Glacier. Great location!
