All the of the same view type at this resort are managed as part of a common pool. Unit assignments are made at check in. No one has the right to any specific unit. This has some advantages and disadvantages for you, the guest. Advantages: 1) There's no risk that you'll get a unit with tacky left over furniture from the 70s, or that hasn't been cleaned well, or with ancient non-working appliances. All the units are furnished by Westin and are identical on the inside. 2) Procedures for check in, etc are simple. No matter who you rent from, you get your electronic card keys at the same front desk, etc. Disadvantages: 1) Because all the units are part of a common rental pool by view type, no owner can tell you which specific unit you will be assigned. However, you are guaranteed the view type you reserved. 2) No left over stuff from the previous guest. My lowest review came from a guest who was unhappy that there were no condiments left over from the prior guest. Westin cleans these units like a hotel, i.e. there is NOTHING left over from the previous guest. The fridge and kitchen cabinets will be completely empty. If that's not what you want, you shouldn't rent at this property. I own a lot of time at this resort so I can be flexible on length of stay and check in date. I take bookings of 3 or more days starting any day of the week. 3) Flexibility to change dates or cancel. If your plans change after booking, you have some flexibility if you notify me at least 70 days before your original check in date. (Specials can not be canceled.)
