About this house rental
Situated in Hood Canal, this charming house for $347 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This home is gorgeous! 2 story with 1 bedroom and 1.25 bath on the main level, along with the attached garage, laundry room, beautiful kitchen, family room with majestic fireplace, dining room and spacious deck off the back complete with outdoor furniture and Traeger Grill! 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on upper level, along with a complete game room, work out room/office and library. This home features all of the comforts of home! The owners have tried to provide everything you will want for your stay, and if there is anything that you can think of during your stay that would be beneficial, please don't hesitate to leave a note in their guest book! Please note there is no shellfish harvesting from the beach area in front of the home as it is owned by another party and guests are asked to stay off of the oyster beds and the beach during low tides. You would need to go to a public area.

We come to WA every summer to visit with family and friends. This was the perfect place for all to come visit us. The home has lots of room to spread out and the back deck was perfect for enjoying the view.
PROS: spacious, kitchen well-equipped, grills outdoors, great water pressure in shower.
CONS: STEEP driveway and could only accommodate a few cars, Main bedroom bed frame had hair (human and dog), main bathroom has window and had to use small round mirrors to get ready with, no instruction on the Nest brand thermostat so it was VERY cold the whole time, no instructions how to use the espresso machine.

Beautiful spot. Property manager answered questions promptly and was great with. House is in need of some TLC. Lots of bulbs out, lots of light switches that don't work. Whatever they're paying the housekeeper, it's too much. Home has lot of rooms! Along with the 3 bedrooms, the office and bonus room are very large and have doors. Kitchen is completely furnished. How do you like your coffee? They have the right appliance for that! Would definately recommend.

Kim was wonderful to work with! Our only drawbacks were that some of the advertised water toys had holes and were unusable, and a few house details needed addressing (e.g., burned out lightbulbs) Overall great stay!

Our family of 7 had an awesome stay at this lake house. Our kids enjoyed the game room and the toys. We enjoyed the office space and the library.
The rooms are big, and our kids enjoyed the double shower in the master bath. The kitchen is well equipped and we love the view from the deck. The sunsets are gorgeous. The icing on the cake were the seals and bald eagles that we got to see form the deck. Belfair state park is close by and loads of easy trials around the area to explore. Rainer, Olympic National park, hurricane ridge all are day trips from this location.

House was clean and well supplied. Driveway is super steep and a bit of a challenge to get turned around in. Loved taking the kayaks out but could only do so at high tide. Overall a very nice place.

The property was as advertised and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the nice water view. The check-in process/check-out process was so easy! Thank you for everything!

Overall satisfaction with amenities and properties. Parking could be an issue with a steep entrance and limited space for vehicles. Amenities abound such as every form of coffee maker possible! Some disappointment in cable coverage for TV. We were very comfortable with lots of space for activities in the house. We enjoyed using the telescope!

We stayed here for the Christmas holiday and couldn't have been happier. Communication with Kim was the best of any VRBO trip we've had. The home was beautiful and right on the water. Gave us a very memorable holiday 2021! 10 stars. Maybe a couple of things to know (for us older folks) there are three large steps into the home and the stairs to the second floor are to be noted. Otherwise very easy to get around. LOADS of towels and supplies - no tin foil or saran wrap that we could find but we didn't look everywhere probably. Thanks to Kim and the homeowners for a great stay. We even got snow for the second half of our stay and they sent the greatest handyman to clear the driveway for us!! Caleb was a savior in helping us get out of the steep driveway. Can't wait to stay again in 2022! Two more super minor things: adjusting the hot water heater and operating the TV were a bit of a challenge. We figured them out eventually. Thanks a million for sharing your home! Ed and Family

The place to purchase a shellfish license was just down the road and we had a wonderful clam feast one evening. The home is located very close to Belfair and not too far from Allyn. There is a fully equipped kitchen and we cooked almost every evening, however there are many restaurants nearby for those who prefer to go out. We will be booking this home again. Great for families
This was a really great place to stay with my family over the Labor Day weekend. I was very fortunate to have found this amazing house right next to the water. Kim, the property manager, was incredibly accommodating to address any issues that came up. There was ample space for everyone to settle in and be comfortable.

We greatly enjoyed are stay at this property. The home is well maintained and the property is right on the beautiful Hood Canal. We were grateful for the air conditioning, because we stayed during a record heat wave.

Absolutely fantastic
My wife and I were getting married on hood canal and needed a place for our small wedding party who was coming from out of state. This was perfect! It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the view as well as have a beautiful place to call home for a few days. Kim was extremely helpful and patient when we emailed her several times asking questions. :) The only thing I'd love to see is if you could somehow include check in instructions in the app instead of by email. There are so many spam emails its easy to lose it

Great home for family get together!
We had two families come together to rent this property for Thanksgiving break. Kim was very kind and prompt when communicating about anything! There were a couple hiccups and she went into action to resolve them quickly and make sure our families were happy and comfortable with our stay. The home is quite large with activities for the kiddos and close to everything we needed. Very furnished with multiple ways to make your coffee lol which we enjoyed! I would recommend this listing to anyone with a large family or two needing a place to stay in this area 🙂

Spectacular!
We celebrated our fathers 70th birthday in this beautiful home overlooking the hood canal. We enjoyed fresh Manila clams and cracked Dungeness crab from Hama Hama Seafood which is a short drive up the canal. We would recommend this home to anyone. Very well appointed. And such a beautiful view.

Best Home Rental Experience Yet
We had a great time! The house was gorgeous, clean, and included all of the amenities we could possibly want. Our days were spent out in the water and at night we would all get together and play in the game room for hours. For once it wasn’t a fight to get our teenagers to put away their phones- there was plenty things to keep them (and us!) busy.

Beautiful Home, Amazing Hood Canal Experience
My family and I spent 4 nights at this lovely home on Hood Canal. The accommodations are very, very nice. Lots of room for everyone (3 couples, 2 kiddos), a fireplace indoors for cooler nights and a terrific game room for the kids. Really nice kitchen with big dining room table for our family to eat, do puzzles, play cards, etc. Outside was just as nice - you're right on the water, easy swimming access, a boat launch, a yard, great deck to sit and enjoy the natural beauty. Would love, love to come back here again next year.

Gorgeous, comfortable, fun!
Our family stayed here with four kids (age range: 9-16) and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful with just about everything you need. The beds and couches were comfortable, plenty of towels, and having laundry abilities was great! I recommend talking with the neighbors who were very kind and welcoming and helped us know what was and wasn't okay for the private clam harvest areas. Kim was wonderful and quick in her communication and responses. We truly enjoyed our time here!

Wonderful property!
We had a fabulous time at this vacation rental. Gorgeous vacation rental with all the comforts of home. The view each morning from the back patio was stunning! We had 4 adults and 2 children in our group. Our kids loved swimming and exploring the waters of the hood canal. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We would definitely recommend this property! We hope to come back again some day!
