B&B Podere Merlo

We enjoyed every aspect of our too short stay. The Podere is a lovingly restored old property set in a very spacious green space with beautiful trees. Just off the road but very quiet ( and secure ). Our suite was extremely comfortable and spacious with so many interesting art pieces, a surprising library! The breakfast was fabulous - the only problem was that we couldn’t eat all the many different options! There was so much! We enjoyed meeting the owners and learning a bit about the area. Francesco was very helpful with dinner suggestion and directions for our day in Parma. We would love to return to Podere Merlo and highly recommend a stay there

The two-bedroom suite, including a separate sitting room, was more than enough space for us, beautifully decorated, clean, and with many small details to welcome and interest us. The breakfast was beyond expectations, with so many wonderful offerings--and such a nice way to start the day. Francesco kindly assisted with restaurant and tour suggestions, as well as baggage storage on our last day. Traveling by car, it was a great location for us to access Parma and the surrounding areas. We feel lucky to have found Podere Merlo.
