There was a room for our bicycles overnight, not far from the Via Rhine route, clean and comfortable room attic room and a good breakfast was included, rare to have that. Staff friendly and helpful.

Beautiful old chateau being refurbished (work in progress). Large room with the lovely bathroom/wet room in one of the turrets! Comfy bed, lovely breakfast. We took dinner at the hotel as the village has limited options - it was served outside & we had amazing views as the sunset.
It was table d'hote only so if you have specific food requirements (I'm veggie) you need to let them know.
Also no aircon in the rooms, as you might imagine, but a fan was provided

Beautiful property, close enough to town to access anything you need but far enough away that it’s a nice little haven. Lovely views in the evening from the Terrace and plenty of space.
There’s still elements that are being refurbished but that doesn’t really takeaway from the charm of the location.

Lovely place, the owner is very welcoming. They are busy renovating the place; it will be fantastic once finished. The parts that are already completed are beautiful; the Wedding venue is gorgeous.
We ended up eating at the chateau all three nights we were there as the food was excellent, the chef was brilliant, and it was outstanding value for money.
We plan to return in a year or two, check on the renovating process and have some lovely food.
