The staff was all very kind, warm and sweet, available for information and help! The position was also perfect for us arriving by foot on the GR1 Trail!

Breakfast was extra, but they did really nice omeletes in the attached restaurant with lovely homemade bread

First of all the Location. Directly in the Forest with fantastic view. We really enjoyed our stay and the silence after 19:00. Good starting point for hiking, PR1 /PR1.2 and PR 11 start direct at accommodation. Thanks to Paola. We feel like at home. And the restaurant is also fantastic. We will come again

The area was beautiful and I liked the communal kitchen and everyone was very kind and helpful.
Not a negative, but it was a very crowded hot spot. I somehow thought it was a sleepy little, out of the way, place to stay for people who liked to hike. Cars, trucks, day trippers from Fuchal etc were all parked there and were eating there. The first night, there were other guests setting off fire works, that were loud and alarming and music and dancing late into the night..all of this is fine, just not what was expected.
