Quirky nice room. Very dog friendly, host allowed dogs to use their garden. Really good breakfast. Helpful host.

Bed was a fourpost, looked fab but had a thin uncomfortable mattress. Too many lights but thats a personal taste, some may love it

What a beautiful property!! I booked it because we wanted to stay somewhere with a lot more character than your average hotel, and Ravenscroft has this in spades! We were looked after exceptionally well during our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with the option of gluten-free.

The only reason I haven't given 5 stars all round is that there was a problem with the hot water in our room.

Ravenscroft is more like a beautiful boutique hotel than a B&B. Everything you need in a room is provided and the attention to detail is superb. Nick and Alex really are wonderful hosts and happy to assist with any requests, which provides a genuinely personal touch. Breakfast is served using locally sourced produce and tastes absolutely delicious! I felt I was dining in a 5 star restaurant with fine crockery and silverware - you don't get that in a chain hotel! Would I stay here again...absolutely YES! Its a 15 out of 10 score made all the more special by giving lots of belly rubs and fuss to their gorgeous doggies.
