Easy boat rides to local restaurants and historic towns await. 5 minute car ride to Kent Island's great restaurants and wedding venues. Convenient access to Rt 50 and only15 minutes to Annapolis. Great for Bridal parties.. Bedrooms: King Bedroom Suite on main floor. Two Queen Bedroom loft area another Bedroom with three (3) full beds. Enjoy everything the Eastern Shore has to offer. The home has interior stair access from garage to the second and third floor living areas. It does not have an elevator.

Everything about this property was amazing! The host was extremely friendly and communicative. The property was stunning. The accommodations, including the hot tub and the playgrounds and getting to see the chickens on the property. We’re all such family fun, friendly activities we hope to be able to come back during the summer!

John’s guest house is immaculate. Meticulously cleaned, beautiful views, comfortable beds, stocked with everything you need for a perfect getaway. Added bonus is that John is a fantastic person who makes everything easy for guests.

My husband and I stayed here with our bridal/groom party during the week of our wedding. Our wedding was on Kent Island (~5 min drive away) on a Friday and this was the perfect place to stay to have some fun and relax in the days leading up to and for the weekend after the wedding.
John was an excellent and accommodating host. He was great at communicating with us beforehand (we booked about 9 months in advance), as the date drew closer, and then during wedding week. He made sure we had all of our questions answered and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. He encouraged us to take advantage of the property to have fun and also on the day-of (we came back to the house for a few photos after our ceremony and before our reception).
The guest house was spotless when we arrived, spacious, and comfortable. We loved having access to a large outdoor space with various activities as options (lawn games, swimming, grill out, listen to music, kayak, paddleboard, fishing). It made for an amazing week.

You won’t be disappointed – the property is in an excellent state of repair and has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and pool were greatly enjoyed by all.
Loads of glasses, cups, plates, bowls etc and every utensil you could think of. John was quick to respond to questions leading up to our arrival and was keen to ensure we were having a good time and making sure everything was OK.

As a group of 6 adults and 4 children there wasn’t a lack of things to do. From hanging out on the balcony to swimming in the pool to fishing to kayaking to bonfires, our extended family had a blast! We really enjoyed our stay at John's VRBO. It has a beautiful pool, hot tub, great grilling area and playground for little kids and is on a nice lake. If you have people that are light sleepers or cant sleep in an area that gets light really early be sure they do not sleep in the Loft area. However, the beds were all great and the house was wonderful. There is a stairway to get up into the house. Also the upstairs bathroom is just a normal sink, toilet and tub/shower combined. The master bedroom downstairs has a large bathroom, with nice large shower and a tub. Then there is a power room on the main level that has 2 sinks and a separate toilet which worked well for getting everyone ready. Again loved our stay and hope to return again.

I read almost all of the reviews on this property and thought wow, could it really be that nice? Well, it is. When our kids were smaller, we took vacations to the beach as they got older, they just wanted to go somewhere quiet, fish and relax. John's place was perfect for us. The listing is very accurate, and John was wonderful to work with and very responsive to my questions. The property is just beautiful and peaceful. Shopping and lots of great restaurants are all very close by. I am quite certain we will visit again!

We have stayed in a lot of houses before, but this one has absolutely blew our minds. Besides the property being like something from a fairy-tale, the owner has got to be the most caring, professional, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is comfortable from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. We came there for our first look as a couple getting married, and we were shocked in awe. We definitely recommend this place for anyone who truly wants to be treated as if you’re a friend, and not a guest! We would love to book again when the chance arises!
