The apartment is clean, fully equipped, and very comfortable for a stay of a few days. It’s spacious enough, with a kitchen, bathroom with a washing machine, air conditioning, and a balcony. There’s also a garden that guests can use freely, which is great if you’re travelling with a dog or a child.
The best part for us was the barbecue! :) The host kindly let us use it and even provided everything we needed. The host is super nice, approachable, and very helpful with anything you need.
The only downside is the location if you’re travelling without a car, especially with a dog. The apartment is up on a hill above Rijeka, and local buses generally don’t allow dogs, so getting around can be less convenient. Without a dog, though, it’s less than 20 minutes by bus to Rijeka city centre, and the bus stop is only about a 2-minute walk from the apartment.

Lovely, friendly, helpful and communicative owners who offered treats for me and my dog, plus mandarins from their tree, clean and pretty decor, heating, well-equipped, comfy bed and pillows - they even provided a dog bed! - parking right outside on the property, desk and wifi fine for work video calls, huge and nice garden for my dog to play in, easy to get to off the motorway, close to a petrol station and a supermarket. 10 min drive to a nice pebble beach and restaurant called Nautica where you can watch the sunset.
It didn’t bother me at all but the hum of traffic may be an issue for some who prefer complete silence at night, but it’s certainly not loud and I’m a light sleeper. There wasn’t much touristy in the area to see on foot, so having to drive to wherever.

The Host - very welcoming and friendly. I really appreciate the information (directions) sent by Host before our arrival, it helped us to find the apartment easily.
Interior - light, fresh, with well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Also I appreciate the baby crib provided for us, as we were traveling with baby.
The location was quite far from city centrum, but as we were traveling by car, it wasn’t a big deal for us. Otherwise - perfect 👍🏻
Moreover, we were traveling through all Croatia and I can tell for sure, that this apartment was one of our two favorites 🙂
