Charming Salema is a unit in a condominium project that sits on a hilltop about 1/4 mile above the lovely beach in Salema. It was a pleasant walk down if fairly steep going back up {we could have driven down & parked, but didn't bother}. There is a grocery market nearby. Salema was uncrowded, and very pleasant with several excellent restaurants that we enjoyed. Our apartment was fully furnished, and quite large. The views from the exterior porches were very nice, with the ocean visible in the distance. There were two large bedrooms, and two bathrooms {although the shower in the smaller bathroom was non-functional}. The beach in Salema is beautiful!
Our apartment door lock was tempermental, and hard to open at times. The washing machine was functional, but barely so, and did not always complete cycles. It does not have a dry function, but the apartment does have clotheslines. The shower in the smaller bathroom did not work, and we never were able to figure out how to turn on the water for it.

La amplitud y tranquilidad del vecindario. A pocos minutos de la playa en coche y a 10 andando. La limpieza y la disponibilidad de la anfitriona.

It was a lovely and very spacious apartment. It was also very clean.
There was low water pressure and no hot water. The washing machine did not work. We were told that there was a water issue in the neighborhood. What could have been an enjoyable stay turned unpleasant with the inability to shower or wash clothes.
