About this cottage rental
Roses on West cottage was built in 2007 replicating the old colonial style of the mid 1800's but because it is a recent build it affords all that is good about todays construction but has the ambience of a past era i.e high ceilings, sash windows etc.
The cottage has established gardens such as box hedging and roses, several camilla's and other flowering shrubs also high hedging offers you a private setting for outdoor activities.
The early morning sun streams into the fully equipped spacious kitchen as it finds it's way to the front of the house by the afternoon where you may wish to relax and read a book or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda.
There is a spa bath as well as a shower in the tiled bathroom for you to relax in before or after your days activities if you wish to do so.
If it is privacy, ambience, comfort and close proximity to all Greytowns attractions we think Roses on West ticks all those boxes.
Special conditions:
Departure needs to be no later than 10.30am as the cottage is serviced at that time.
Not suitable for young children.
Servicing Charges
The base rate for the cottage is for one room only. If you are a couple the rate per night is for one room but if you need to use the 2nd bedroom there is a one off charge of $50. The same also applies to 2 single guests using both rooms there will be a one off charge of $50.

This is a really great place. Excellent location in Greytown, close to the main street but a block away from the heavy traffic and noise. The house itself was lovely, we really liked the incredibly spacious living area, with lots of options for seating and relaxing, along with the wood burner. The garden was also so nice, despite it being a bit later in the seasons. The beds were also really comfortable. What would've made the stay a 5-star would be a few minor things we felt were missing. Would've loved to have had better bath towels, the ones provided were more of a basic bath sheet. There were a couple of things we needed to purchase in the supermarket for our stay that one might expect to have provided (kitchen roll/paper), and some additional toilet roll was needed. How we described the cottage was it was so close to being top level boutique class, with just a couple of really easy tweaks in terms of the amenties provided. We would absolutely consider staying here again.

Lovely well kept property. Immaculately clean and tidy. Great location. Claire and Alec were great to deal with. A lovely arrival gift and quality bed linen. Highly recommend.
