Located in Canyon Lake, this attractive house for $545 per night is a great choice for your next break. A farmhouse-type home with some modern flair - that's what you'll get when you stay at Juniper Woods Farmhouse. This 3,100 square foot home comfortably hosts up to 12 guests with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The spacious living room provides ample seating with gorgeous views and direct access to the covered patio with seating for gathering or dining as well as a fireplace that provides great ambiance. Juniper is all about gathering as the living area includes a large dining table. The kitchen features plenty of space for multiple chefs, cooking and dining essentials, and a large island with plenty of seating. Bedroom number one is the master suite which features a king-size bed, an HDTV, access to the patio, and an attached bath that includes dual sinks and a large tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom houses a queen-size bed. The second bathroom also includes dual sinks and a gorgeous walk-in shower. The third bedroom is complete with two twin beds and gorgeous natural lighting. The fourth bedroom is very unique featuring six twin bunks and a wall-mounted HDTV. This is also where you'll find the third full bathroom. Up the spiral steps (located in the kitchen area) is where you'll find a bonus living area with a TV and beautiful views. The home also includes a full washer and dryer available for guest use. Back outside, you'll love the covered patio with outdoor dining and built-in fireplace, the newly constructed campfire pit, and charcoal grill for the barbecue crowd. It'll be hard to leave but when you do, be sure to check out the local hotspots including Gruene Hall and Historic District, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, The Comal River and tube chute, Whitewater Amphitheater, Guadalupe River rentals and outfitters, Canyon Lake, and more! *You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. This is a really beautiful modern hill country home with the perfect layout in a really great location and close to many tourist attractions. The host exceeded expectations and were more than friendly and accommodating for the most part!!! We would definitely stay here here again if they will receive us.

My family of 9 stayed here for my daughter’s wedding weekend and it was perfect. The house is beautiful and great for a large family. The firepit outside is nice and easy to use and sit around. The floor plan is open with plenty of room. It’s simply a lovely home and I want the floor plans!

We had a wonderful stay at Juniper Woods Farmhouse. The layout of the home is perfect, and our kids especially loved the bunk room. The adults loved the well-appointed kitchen, the comfortable living room, and the outdoor patio. The AC worked great! We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a vacation stay.

We were close enough to drive and enjoy all of the area's amenities but we could then escape the busy hussle and bussle and relax in the country. Perfect
We loved our stay at this Juniper Farmhouse! We had three families and kids, so the size of the home was perfect for us! The bunk room was amazing - it made our kids feel so grown up being able to stay in their own space with their own bathroom and their own tv. It was perfect for the kids. The other three bedrooms were great for the adults. The extra space upstairs was really neat, so much natural light throughout the entire home. They also have two washers and dryers, so for three families that was perfect. Every light switch and kitchen cabinet was labeled which was nice. Tons of kitchen utensils and dishes, bowls, etc. our kids enjoyed making s'mores at night. There is a nice fire pit area in the back but we didn't use it since it was windy the nights we were there. We couldn't locate extra trash bags, so we used grocery bags for trash at the end of our trip. Also, it was only about 5-10 minutes down the road to Gruene which we loved. We also drove to Wimberley for a day and it was an easy drive. Overall, our stay was so nice and the house was very clean and well maintained! We would love to stay there again.

The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was an outdoor BBQ pit. Hidden nicely in the woods with no signs of nearby neighbors. What more could you want!

PERFECT! The lay out was great. Place was clean and household items and toiletries available. Plenty of towels too! Close to a grocery store, river and water park and of course Gruen. Favorite was the outdoor patio and upstairs room for the kids!

We had a fantastic time. The home was comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the kitchen as we brought a chef. The fire pit allowed for a great story time for the family. The large tables both inside and out were used for game wars... lol! Very nice place!!

AMAZING!!
Where do I start (Lengthy)...
We just returned from our stay. We had the most amazing time.
The house was very easy to find. It sits tucked away from the road. I will say the driveway is rocky and not paved yet so be careful when walking up to the door.
The outside looks just like all the photos. The house is big, bright and clean.
We stayed from 12/24-12/29. They had the house decorated for us for the holidays. It was a very pleasant surprise. They had a fully decorated Christmas tree, although the lights did not work, it was still beautiful. They had wreaths on the doors and welcome basket filled with Christmas goodies and supplies for smores.
The house has everything you will need for your stay. The WiFi worked great even with all 10 of us using it. All bathrooms are very large and had full sized bottles of Dove body wash and Pantene shampoo/ conditioner. All the soap dispensers were full, and they had more than enough towels and blankets.
It was 10 of us that stayed at the house and it was plenty of space to where we were not on top of each other. Everyone had a room they could go to for privacy and then meet up later.
The kitchen was fully stocked with trash bags, all the cups, plates, bowls, servers, you name it. There was coffee, sugar and all the spices you need too. We didnt realize they would supply us with so much and brought our own things which we ended up leaving in our cars.
We were close to an HEB, and gas stations and all sorts of eateries.
We lit the fire pit most nights and made smores.
On Christmas Day we had dinner outside on the back patio and it was plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable.
There were a couple days we were able to walk the neighborhood and enjoyed seeing the deer and looking out at the beautiful scenery. The area is very quiet and everyone we passed were very friendly.
We appreciated the fact that there was no tv in the great room so we could talk and spend quality time with each other. We used the upstairs room for movie nights a couple times and everyone was able to sit comfortably.
I think if we had anything to complain about it would be the water pressure in the master bathroom. For such a beautiful bathroom that water pressure was awful. If someone was taking a shower at that same time in another bathroom it was even worse. I think This is due to them getting water from the well. This is by no means a deal breaker. Just something we all noticed. But we all said we would want to stay here again in a heartbeat. We were able to relax and unplug and enjoy our Christmas and close out 2020 on a high note. It was a truly enjoyable stay.

Family Weekend
Gonna be a little lengthy, sorry. We loved our stay at this beautiful home!! The space was adequate for 3 families, there were 6 adults and 6 children. It has an open floor plan and we didnt feel as if we were all up on each other. Checking in and out was easy, we were able to communicate with the management team via text with any needs. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen, even seasonings!! You dont need to bring anything, they even provide serving dishes. The beds were comfortable and the linen is of good quality. This is important to me because I hate using poor quality towels to shower. There are also towels to take to the river, beach chairs, and a pop up tent. The kids had a blast with the toys and games. The view is wonderful, we enjoyed sitting out on the back porch by the fireplace as the kids made smores. We tried to venture out and walk around the property but its not readily accessible past the area where the home is. There were a couple of things that I would mention; My nephew has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is wheelchair bound. All the entrance doors had steps of some kind, so the men had to lift my nephews wheelchair that weighed 600lbs to get it inside. My daughter searched and found a board that we used as a ramp for him to come inside and out. So bring a portable ramp if you need it. Another thing is the darkness by the grill outside. A light near that spot would be great. Overall those things arent deal killers for us, we would return. Thanks for allowing us to borrow your beautiful home!! P.S. We used Shipt to deliver groceries from the H?E?B thats 10-15 min away.

Gorgeous, clean house and so well stocked, it met all our needs/wants. It would have been good to know about the 12-y/o limit for the top bunks though. If only it was on the water!

Perfect Getaway
Perfect getaway experience! The house was just as described and clean. There were snacks and water provided when we arrived and the owners were very responsive. The outdoor firepit was perfect for family time and making snores. The surrounding area was peaceful and it was fun to watch the deer as they frequently walked through the back yard. The location was close to downtown yet not to far from the lake and river entrances. Overall great experience!
