I liked the breakfast and the crew work in the restaurant they were amazing more than amazing the lady with the veil, she was giving us unbelievably service

I didn’t like the pool we had big red spots on our skin like bites of mosquitoes, there were very big lizards in our villa, and whenever i ask for help to remove them, they come late so lizards hide before they arrive, the driver was giving very high rates not the normal ones just because we are tourists

Vila labai graži, erdvi ir tvarkinga. Personalas tiesiog nuostabus, aukščiausios klasės aptarnavimas. Visi prašymai buvo išpildyti per minutę. Viešbutis labai gražioje vietoje, iš restorano atsiveria gražus vaizdas į įlanką. Pusryčiai neįtikėtini, labai gausūs ir skanūs. Viešbutis yra tolokai nuo Senggigi, bet tai mums nebuvo problema. Vilos labai privačios, galima labai gerai pailsėti.

The villas were private with a private pool which is perfect for hijabis. The restaurant staff were lovely and the food served was delicious.

The stay in this resort is a mixed feeling experience. Firstly, I would like to say the staff in the restaurant were super helpful and friendly. Even though the menu at the restaurant was good, I felt like I was eating the same thing everyday as there isn’t a variety of options specially for the breakfast section. This is just a suggestion but the food was delicious. The villa was private and we really liked it. But In terms of the cleanliness even though the room was tidied up the net had some dirty marks and it seemed to be insects and I would have hoped the cleaners would have spotted it. Additionally, in our room we didn’t have enough tissues so it would have been good if extra tissues were put in toilet without requesting it. Also, I had a horrible experience for the private snorkelling service offered by the hotel which we paid IDR 1,750,000 for which is a lot of money for the experience we got. At first I was informed that the booking was all fine then to my surprise I got a call in the evening to say it was full so they booked us with another service and on the description it did say we were getting a glass boat but that wasn’t the case. The boat didn’t have the glass and it was in a bad condition. At one point we even had to get out of the water due to the waves and they literally did not direct us. There was also a language barrier with the boat workers and it was very hard to understand most of the time, although we were sold on the experience being fully guided by an English speaker. They didn’t follow the itinerary that we were sold on and tried persuading us to skip the islands stay that we paid for and kept rushing us although we again paid for a 9am-5pm private experience. I made it very clear that we were not experienced with snorkelling and the guide kept stopping us and not really guiding us on what to do.

I'm writing this review on the last day of my stay in The Kayana and I am already missing all of these people. The villas are very clean, the food is always hot, they have a wide range of local food but also the continental ones. Poached eggs were my favorites for breakfast as well as seared salmon for dinner. The eggs were perfectly prepared - not each chef could do it so well even in Europe. The nearby beach is connected with local village - but those people are also very nice and kind even tough they know English a little. You can always find a way to communicate. You can see Lombok from inside thanks to them. And now I would like to thank especially to Muh Yanuar Mukhtur who made our stay an unforgettable experience from the very beginning. He took us from the airport and made us feel safe and comfortable, talking all the way about many interesting things, current situation - he was like an old friend hasn't seen for a long time. He checked our mood and plans daily - asking how he could help. A fancy tied bandana on his head looks exotic and unusual and it could be a great way to express the character and individuality of people who work and live there. Astin - the lady working in the reception desk - always helpful and nice, gives you the advice of travelling and must see tourist point, arranges the trips and solve many, many problems. Dewi - the waitress in the restaurant - always interested in your day and well-being, willing to help with the dish selections, explains all the local ingredients used in the meals, aware of allergens, skillfully selects substitutes. Nurs - the waiter always greets you with some joke, he has a great sense of humor. A great type of waiter, committed but non-imposing. Awan, Defri, Yayat and many many more.... I don't remember all of their names but they all are great people and they do great job. You can feel as a part of their family. Thanks to this team you can feel like home.

It was the perfect Heaven on earth — first line, ocean view villa, beautiful almost private beach, tall gorgeous palms and the bathroom with a direct way to the swimming pool.

Everything was almost perfect, but hot water wasn’t permanent

The kindness of the staff, the nice architecture of the villas and the wonderful view from the peak restaurant with such good food was perfect to relax from Lombok excursions.

The beach is nice but the beach equipment rather boring and the coral reef rather dead.

We had a fantastic stay here! The villas were beautiful, very stylish and private. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, you could even order from the restaurant to be delivered on the private beach. Views from the restaurant itself were stunning. Snorkelling from the beach was great, my husband even saw a turtle!

Food was great but they could do with having a few more vegetarian options.
