Nestled in Havelock North, this attractive cottage for $87 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Accommodation is located in a summer fruit orchard, surrounded by fruit trees and with an elevated view to the Tuki Tuki River and Te Mata Peak. The 40m2 two bedroom flat enjoys all day sun, with the lounge opening to a deck and outdoor area. One of the things to look forward is to relax in the outdoor bath and sauna. Perfect choice if you enjoy the country lifestyle, outdoor activities, knowing that coffee shops, restaurants, wineries and shops are only a short drive away. Although the flat is positioned next to one of the houses, grounds are separated to ensure privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. The Tuki Tuki river flows alongside the property and can be accessed by a 5min walk providing opportunities for swimming, kayaking, trout fishing, white baiting and duck shooting. Walking shoes or boots are recommended as the grass and fennel plants are sometimes long. Our property is located 15kms from Clive, 16kms from Havelock North, 20kms from Hastings and 25kms fromNapier. One of many Hawke's Bay cycle tracks starts at the property boundary, allowing you to explore the surroundings by bike. The track leads to Haumoana, Clive and Havelock North. Two adult bikes are available on request. Te Mata Peak, a popular tourist attractions, is only 20 minutes drive away, providing stunning views over Hawke's Bay as well as several trails for hikers and mountain bikers. Cape Kidnappers 18 hole award-winning golf course is only a short drive away as well as other golf courses. You could also explore the world's largest mainland gannet colony on Cape Kidnappers . We wish you a wonderful stay! Special conditions: Smoking allowed outside only. Keep to the speed limit and watch out for children while driving on the property. Children need to be supervised wile playing outside (no fencing) Not suitable for wheel chair access. No fires to be lid in any circumstances.

Lovely setting, very clean and tidy. We had a very relaxing stay. I enjoyed a long walk in the orchard near the river. We didn't use the hot tub but I enjoyed the sauna. Thank you to our hosts. Merv, Jan and Heather

This was a perfect getaway among orchards (many of them in blossom at this time of year). There was space around the house and the river nearby to keep the kids occupied, but it was just a short drive to Havelock North with dining, honey tasting etc. We enjoyed the outside bath, sauna and Netflix. The kids loved the two (adult) bikes as well. And the birdsong in the morning was almost deafening. Thanks for the lovely stay (the owners we never met :)!

It was a great "experience to be away from it all" inland of Haumoana. The location is on a large orchard, with great views of the Tukituki River. We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Thanks.

We had a lovely three nights stay at the property at Haumoana. Very relaxing and not too far from the three cities of Havelock North, Hastings and Napier. The perfect location. Very cozy place and inviting place to stay.

I stayed here the night before my wedding with my 2 bridesmaids, and we got ready here in the morning. My new husband and I then stayed the night of the wedding. From the word go, Tina and Joe were so accommodating. They gave us access to the river for the photos we wanted on our wedding day, and offered a late check out. Beautiful location, lovely clean cottage - the only problem was we didn't have time to use the outdoor bath or sauna!!! Highly recommend - if we ever need a quick local getaway, I know where to go!

We were a bit unfortunate with the weather-it rained everyday we were there. However the location is very nice-nestled in a working orchard. Its in close proximity to the cycle trail which is nice for any cyclists

My wife and I had a lovely few days. The river was great (access easy for the able bodied). Easy driving to Havelock North, Hastings and Te Awanga. Very tidy. My wife loved the outdoor bath. Hosts are lovely folks. The dogs are beyond cute.

Nice location on the orchard, great communication and easy check-in given we were arriving late. Do suggest arriving in the day time if possible as in the dark it can be a little confusing - light was left on for us which was great. The improvement we would suggest is the bed which we found had roll together so not as comfortable as we are used to.

The property and facilities were fabulous. If you're looking for a quiet getaway or to tour Hawkes Bay area the location is perfect. Had everything we needed and more. The property was well equipped and spotlessly clean. In all fairness though, we were in the area for mtb racing so we did not make use of what we had or the location we were in. Loved it though and would certainly return if we were in the area again. Thank you to our lovely hosts.

We had a family reunion happening across the road and stayed here for peace and quiet. We loved being in the middle of an orchard, the lovely views and most importantly the well equipped cottage that had been developed with great consideration for the person or people staying. We would highly recommend it.

We had wonderful five nights at Tina & Joe over the New Years. It's quiet & tranquil location set amongst the orchard and Tuki tuki river. We enjoyed soaking in the bath at night while stargazing & serenaded by Morepork' beautiful cuckoo sound from a distance. Absolute blissful moment if you're looking for a serene time off. We also went out and explore the Hawkes Bay region and this cottage is quite strategic location. Thank you for the yummy fruits! Overall, it was awesome experience!
