The apartment was very centrally located - right in the heart of San Marco. I was worried it was going to be too noisy, but it is located in an alleyway between busier streets, so it was relatively quiet. The apartment is spacious and has everything you will need. It’s great value if you need a second single bedroom (I didn’t). The main bed was large (king) and very comfortable. The host is very responsive and provides lots of information and detailed instructions - very helpful as it can be a little tricky to navigate Venice. The apartment can get warm, but opening the windows gets a great cross breeze cooling things down well. Great to have a washing machine, with laundry liquid provided.
None of these things worried me, but worth noting. As other have said the apartment is dark - not uncommon for Venice. The listing says it has a balcony, which I never found. While I found the apartment very suitable. It is utilitarian, without much Venetian styling, so if you are looking for fancy Venetian decor you may be disappointed. There was a small maintenance issue during my stay - no one was to blame - just one of those things. The host was very responsive, and it didn’t really affect my stay too much.

Very spacius and clean appartment in a very central area of San Marco district but very quiet. The host was very helpfull and gave us all the necesary informations.
