About this house rental
Located in Madison, this lovely house for $270 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. PERFECT LAKE & MOUNTAIN HOME FOR A FALL/WINTER GET-AWAY. 15 MINUTES TO KING PINE. 20 MIN TO CONWAY, on MAJOR SNOWMOBILING TRAILS. Please note we rent to families and couples only. No large groups, guys weekends, or parties larger than 6 adults, or 4 adults and 4 kids. All guests must be respectful of neighbors. Please refer to the attached rules. This home provides a relaxing vacation getaway with so many outdoor and indoor amenities you may decide to never use the car for your entire stay! You can enjoy many outside activities such as SNOWMOBILING, X-COUNTRY SKIING, SNOW SHOEING. Or you can relax in the comfortable living room and enjoy the cozy gas fireplace and catch up on some movies on the HD home theater with cable, or use the wireless internet. You can cook up a great meal in the fully equipped kitchen or on the gas grill. The Silver Lake Timber House is located across the street from pristine Silver Lake, a 3 mile long river fed lake just 20 minutes south of Conway at the entrance to Mt Washington Valley. Silver Lake is one of the cleanest & deepest lakes in NH with a large sandy association beach just a 2 minute walk away. Other 'lakes' in Madison are actually ponds. The association beach area has beautiful mountain views toward Mt Chocorua, the Sandwich range and all the way north to Mt Washington. There are trails for snowmobiling, hiking and mountain biking. Since East Shore Drive is a dead end road the traffic is light making for a nice place to walk, run or bike. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, stores, local attractions within minutes of the home. The village of Conway and North Conway with more shopping, restaurants, skiing, golf and other attractions and activities is a scenic 20-30 minute drive north.

We booked a year ago and needed to cancel last minute due to COVID, Our host enabled us to rebook the following year without any extra fees or penalities.
The property has everything one could want .. foosball, ping pong, pool table, fireplace, cable TV and every kitchen accessory (including spices, tea, blender, mixer ,, you name it) needed. Even the tap water was excellent!
The world is a big place with many places to see but this was a must return to adventure. Don't be fooled by the market price .. it is worth every penny. We created a memory with our family that will last a lifetime!

We LOVED staying at Paul and Cindy’s house. It was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. Our friends that stayed with us couldn’t believe how everything was included including linens and how the kitchen included everything you need. We loved having the use of the two kayaks and the canoe. There are wonderful hiking trails a short stroll from the house and you’ll be serenaded by the sounds of the loons on the lake. Yes, we will be back.

I travel the world working at a major airline and I’m the most pickiest person and I admit it!! This property exceeded not only My entire families expectations, but mine as well!!
The cleanness and cozy feeling was very inviting. Although we only stayed two short nights we wished it was longer but treasured every minute. We learned our son’s friends family owned a house on the same street. Small world!!
It was nice to see my boys not only playing in the game room but also breaking out the traditional board games!!! No phones or electronics!!!
The linens, furniture, & beds were up to date and not old. The pictures don’t do any justice. This property is Spectacular and wayyy bigger than the pictures. It’s nice and bright and has amazing architecture too.
We wish it was open for a week day in the summer of 2023😢We would 110% rent this property again.

For a second year, four adult friends used the house as a base for our driving school at Club Motorsport. There is much more to the house and lake than we used, since we spent little time there. Nevertheless, it was just what we wanted: great location, clean rooms throughout, ample space, great kitchen/dining area, and comfortable inside and outside seating. Highly recommended.

Great spot for relaxing weekend!
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Paul's property. It was spacious but cozy and inviting with everything we needed. The neighbor was quiet and right near a few hiking trails which was perfect for walks with our pup. Look forward to returning!

Excellent Weekend Away
The property was even better than the pictures. Impeccably clean upon arrival. Gorgeous timberframe home. Paul was very attentive to any questions and the house was well equipped. There are two en-suites. So, having two families would be more than possible. Looking forward to staying again!

Ideal When Driving at Club Motorsports and More
The house was ideal for our group of five adults who participated in a performance driving school at Club Motorsports in Tamworth. We were at the track for two very full days so we didn’t tax the property much. We basically slept or sat on the front porch and chatted as the sun went down.
I can see how adults and families who are looking for a base when doing more in the White Mountains would also find it a great location and facility.

We had a small issue when we got there, I called Paul and he answered me right away and resolved the issue. There were a lots of games and a gameroom and just a short walk to the beach. We didn't have time to take the boats out, but they were down on the beach so no need to drag them down. We would love to come back again.

This home was perfect for me and my adult children and grandchildren.
I rented this property without having seen it inside, but the home was perfect! There were 2 bathrooms, so everyone had privacy, the front porch was a dream, and the location perfect.
I love to cook and the kitchen was set up with all the amenities one needs. It was clean, neat and there was little I needed or wanted.
The location to the beach was perfect and I loved sipping my coffee in the morning while warming up in front of the fireplace.
One night the sunset was orange lighting up the lake as well. Restorative and relaxing with lots of hiking nearby too!

Serene Summer Retreat
We loved sitting on the front porch, looking out at the yard and the lake. We walked down to the beach every day (just a short walk), and enjoyed walks and runs in the neighborhood as well. One of our favorite parts about this stay was using the outdoor shower on the warm summer nights. Thanks to Paul for being super responsive and helpful, as well.

Beautiful house right across the street from silver lake. Quick walk. Great for kids. House was outstanding. Had everything you could possibly need. Awesome game room kept the kids occupied for hours. Lots of fun. Would definitely return.

True Cabin Feel!
We stayed at this cabin over a snowy weekend in February. The house had all amenities we could need. We especially enjoyed the rock climbing wall to the "nook". The bedrooms were perfect, the game room in the basement was SO FUN. We enjoyed walking the trails nearby and the location was perfect! We would definitely stay again! Loved the openness of the house and the front porch would be AMAZING in the summer. Highly recommend!
