Let me start with saying the cabin was very nice and clean but the property advertises a hot tub which is one of the main reasons we decided with this place over others but when we got there the hot tub was only half full which made it hardly usable. The next day it was lower which made it unusable. I contacted the manager politely and he accused us of “hanky panky” which was not the case and stated he will not be coming out to fill it when I assured him that it was that way when we arrived and was no fault of our own. Later I inspected the hot tub to find a hole in the side where water was leaking out with some mildew showing that this hole was not new, and I sent pictures to the manager as proof so he couldn’t accuse us of “hanky panky” again. He came that night to fill it but it was far to late to use it before it could warm up. We had to check out the next morning. We came here excited for the hot tub but we could not use it and were accused of foul play. To their credit the morning of our departure the manager told me he has never been wrong in 20 years about hot tubs, and that I was right but I still never received that apology. Outside of the rudeness of the manager and the extremely large safety deposit it was a great and beautiful cabin.

Home was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We were skiing/riding Whiteface mountain which was just a short drive away. At the end of a beautiful street, it was a great location for a small group. Very quiet in a nice town with everything you could ask for within short walking or driving distance.

The house was beautiful and perfect to stay in. We were close to the hiking trails and the village of Lake Placid. The kids loved it!! It felt like home and we didn’t want to leave. Quiet, secluded and relaxing.
