The rooms were amazing and quiet, they were villas set in a tranquil forest environment. If you find the walking from the villa to the main area a bit challenging as it is a bit up and down, including reception you simply call for a golf cart and they pick you up within minutes for free. The views are amazing from the main pool area. The resort is very clean and the rooms cleaned daily. The staff are sooooooooooo friendly too. If you are using a car hire or have access to transport it is much easier to get around. The Zimbali estate is huge and the resort are happy to transfer you around for free, the valley of the pools area is a great example as it is a fair way from the resort.
Breakfast was a bit hit & miss. One day cooked, the next continental so consistency required, but we assumed it was based on occupancy. No shops etc. within walking distance, there is a shopping centre with restaurants but it is a solid walk and really a car ride. The pool requires a lot more TLC.
