Room, location, pool and breakfast was great. Staff were helpful especially the two ladies on reception
There was an option to pay for early check-in, which we chose not to take before arriving. However, when we arrived in Otranto, my pregnant wife was feeling very unwell and needed somewhere to rest. The room was already ready when we arrived, but we were charged €90 to check in at 13:30, rather than the standard 16:00 check-in time.
I completely understand a charge for early check-in if the room needs to be prepared specially or additional arrangements have to be made. However, as the room was already ready, I felt €90 was quite a high fee, particularly given the circumstances.
