We had a lovely stay at La Maisonette in Brașov and really enjoyed our time here.
The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Brașov, making it incredibly convenient to explore the Old Town and all the main attractions on foot. Everything is close by, including restaurants, cafés, shops, and the beautiful historic streets.
The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The atmosphere was charming and felt very authentic to the character of Brașov.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay if you want to experience Brașov from the centre of the city. We would happily stay at La Maisonette again and definitely recommend it!
One thing to note is that there is no air conditioning in the room, which was a little uncomfortable, especially during warmer weather. Having AC would definitely make the stay more comfortable. Luckily, they arranged fans for us, which was manageable

Great location right in the city center.
Big and interesting room.
We asked for a baby cot and they told us to set it by ourselves. My husband did not agree and the guy stayed to help him. They said the dont have mattress for the baby cot!
The appartment was quite clean, but wee found a glass with something under the bed.

The location of the room we booked is central (litteraly just in the main square of Brasov) which made access to restaurants and landmarks very easy. That's pretty much all what we liked about this room.
The room we booked is a small room at the back of an alley that has the kitchens of several restaurants that are in the main square. Coming here in the summer it was our fault that we did not check for A/C. Being from Romania myself, I assumed that A/C is pretty much everywhere especially when summers go over 40 degrees easily.
The host was nice to quickly fix us with a ventilator which made things better.
Then, be careful if you are travelling by car as the city center has limited parking spots that are usually full (especially during the weekend).
The room is small and we had an issue with the hot water (or the lack of it due to a failure at the boiler). The host was prompt to respond but it took a while until we could actually shower.
