Construction noise and I was over charged.

Location

Construction noise the entire stay. Electrical outlets would not hold my adapter. Staff was confused about my breakfaat order. AC went out a couple times. In my 3 day stay they never came to clean the room

Pleasant

We had booked two rooms - one room had a very nice bathroom. The other bathroom was okay. However, showers were well equipped and had hot water running. The rooms were spacious. The property was not too expensive given the very nice, albeit noisy location. When we asked for extra pillows, we were given 1 per room and when our ac wasnt working, they helped us immediately

The sheets, and the towels need replacing. Seem like they have thinned due to overuse. Wifi had good coverage however was running at 2g speeds in the rooms. The tea bags were kept in the open without packaging. Maybe a lid on the box would be nice to keep away dust. The hospitality was very weird. A few times, we had nice interactions however other times we were met with grumpy or sullen faces. I had fallen sick and they didn't have a first aid kit but the guy had helped us get a thermometer from his house. It took a while but he did arrange it for us. The bfast quantities were less than usual. However, we had asked for a late checkout, given that i had fallen sick but they stuck to their checkout time of 11am

The hotel was quiet, reasonably priced, with an excellent location close to the Ghats and main areas

Excellent location. Large sized Bathrooms. Fresh food available on request.

Pleasant

Excellent location, decent sized rooms, friendly and well behaved staff.

Hot water availability was sporadic, zero amenities in the room, toilet was stinky.

The location is excellent. It is very close to Assi ghat. There is a nearby market and several food joints.

There were some shortcomings that we noticed. I think the number of staff in the hotel is less than expected. We booked two rooms: one was Deluxe Double Room and the other one was Budget Double Room. The Deluxe room was spacious. However, the budget room was relatively small. The budget room had several problems. One of the ones we experienced was that on two mornings, there was no water to flush the commode. After we complained for the first time, it was taken care of. However, the problem resurfaced again. Although the time we visited (Nov 8-11), the AC was not needed most of the time, the primary power connection to the AC in both of the rooms was switched off by the authority. Another thing was that the complimentary water bottles were provided only when we requested them. I also think the rooms were overpriced. The hotel is supposed to be a 3-star hotel. But the rooms do not match that standard in my opinion.

An excellent place to stay that is clean, friendly, located near Assi Ghat for beautiful sunrise.

The staff at Hotel Haifa were so helpful and kind. The rooms were perfect for our group and the location at Assi Ghat is central to everything we needed. We will plan to come back and stay at Haifa. The restaurant is just returning (post Covid and after the celebration of Holi) to becoming fully staffed along with the menu and restaurant feel. We'll look forward to next time when the restaurant is vibrant, full and open at all hours.

Good Experience

It was a great experience staying at this place. The management is very friendly and co- operative. They took special care for the breakfast as I had to leave early morning, this was appreciable. Would love to visit and stay here again.

Everything is good but my little suggestion would be, instead of using two separate mattress they should use one mattress as to make sleeping more comfortable.

Location was good.very near to assi ghat..staff behaviour was very nice. Manager behavour was very nice and very helpfull...very kind full person..All other staff behaviour was nice...10 out of 10 in behavour.

There was 1 chair in double room. No table in the room...gyser power supply was always off.. switched on after reminding...!!
