Island Boutique Hotel

First, I would like to commend the hotel staff—especially the ladies at the reception, who welcomed us warmly and provided excellent, truly wonderful, and personal service. They are a truly exceptional team, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. To Christina and the rest of the lovely ladies: you truly made our vacation amazing! We were upgraded to the most charming room in all of Rhodes—the rooftop room. It was especially delightful since we were celebrating a birthday. The housekeeping team went above and beyond to ensure everything was comfortable and seamless. We had everything we could want, and above all, we felt that we truly mattered to the staff. Everything was wonderful; we will undoubtedly return and, of course, recommend the excellent service and superb amenities of this lovely hotel.

Everything was perfect for us, and we were very sad to say goodbye this morning—especially to the staff. We hope this special team is properly compensated for their dedicated work; I would double their pay. They work with all their hearts.

Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful.

Location is perfect. Near the beach. Very easy to access. Hotel has a very nice restaurant on ground floor.

Duvet was not comfortable and my room was looking at back side of the building.

The reception staff at the hotel were lovely and friendly - we turned up early as so our room wasn't ready (quite reasonably) but the lovely lady at reception said she could text us as soon as it was available, which she did. The location is superb. Right on nthe beach, and five minutes walk to bars and resturants and 15-20 minutes to the old town.

To be honest we were expecting better service and quality from a four star hotel billing itself as Boutique. I try hard not to leave bad reviews by dealing with issues in real time - but even having done that nothing got sorted. The frosted glass bathroom door wouldn't close. It got to within about 8 inches of shutting - which meant you couldn't stand at the sink so you had to leave it open. The light above the sink went off every 20 seconds - so to shave, or use that mirror, you had to reach around to the light switch outside and turn it on and off. Our balcony didn't have a towel rail which every other balcony we could see did. All three things I told reception on the first afternoon - none where dealt with. Also the bathroom fittings were cheap and poor. It was a big bathroom with a tiny cheap shower cubicle in it. Taps and shower fixings were poor. We put out the sign to make up our room on the second day....I seriously think my kids would make the bed better. We all know how continential breakfasts are prepared, but to see a lady opening supermarket plastics packs of sliced cheese at the plate and loading them on felt like a youth hostel TBH All in all it felt cheap - which it certainly wasn't. I wouldn't go back.
