It was very homely and great location for the beach.
We could have done with a bigger fridge freezer as we couldn’t fit a lot in it to save us some money for our stay

Great location, comfy beds and was spacious
There is no plug sockets near the mirrors, would need extension cable to reach with straightners/ hairdryer.
Was a bit cold.

Well equipped and set out.
Comfortable sofas.
Functional accommodation.
Generally clean on the surface.
We found it really useful to have a washing machine and a decent clothes horse with windows that can be opened wide to improve air flow.
Excellent location. Ayr and the surrounding area is beautiful. Lots to do and see.
Given that we booked this fairly late and in the school summer holidays, the accommodation cost around £110 per night which seems fairly cheap for a summer holiday for a family of four.
Listing mentioned a coffee machine - the only item I could find of this description is a caffetierre for 1. Don't expect a Nespresso machine!
Black mould embedded in the shower caulking, on the walls and ceiling.
Dirty bed throws.
When sofa throw fell down, the paler sofa was suspiciously stained from top to bottom.
Spiky debris lifting out from carpet in twin room.
Unaware of owner's desire to sell property, this would have put me off staying but found out from a very polite message asking if we would mind a viewing took place. I didn't mind at all, but it's evident the owner is not keeping the property to a high standard as they are intending to sell, so have no incentive to receive positive feedback from a holiday let.
We were exceptionally lucky with the weather- only having rain on the last night. This was very fortunate given that the water came through the ceiling of the twin room and was only noticed after my child woke up in the morning.
