Ideal location for us, within walking distance of Southmead hospital and near the green space of the common opposite.
Very warm welcome from staff, thank you. We were only here for one night and our room suited us very well.. it was a good size with windows that opened and a ceiling fan. Tea, milk, coffee bags (nice!) and kettle, with cereal bars in the room, and a microwave on the landing to use if wanted. We found the large double bed very comfortable.
We knew no breakfast was available but as we were leaving early in the morning, that was not a problem for us.
We would definitely return.
A couple of very small things.. the bathroom door would not stay shut if the bathroom window was open for fresh air and the glass shelf immediately above the sink was in the way really.. and perhaps a small lamp near the cups/kettle etc would be useful when making (very!) early morning tea 🙂

Staff very friendly and very helpful - and quiet location
Room had no ensuite and had to walk across the landing to the toilet.
Bathroom not very clean - shower in particular
Room very rundown and in need of a lot of attention
