Redwings Lodge Solihull

We are regulars - the rooms are the rooms, comfortable, clean, and have everything you need for an overnighter or a couple of nights, well laid out and particularly suited for business trips. What makes Redwings every time, for us, is the staff. Genuinely interested in their guests, welcoming, considerate, full of local knowledge, patient and fun. If the front of house team at Redwings Solihull could be cloned, and sent to every hotel in their price range, the world would be a much, much better place.

Friendly staff

Check out at 10 was fine but our key was deactivated before then and we had to buzz to get back in from the car park and have the key reactivated to get into our room to collect our belongings.

Convenient with free parking

Other guests smoking cannabis in their room so the whole floor and landing smelled of cannabis.

The staff were amongst some of the friendliest I’ve ever seen. Fantastic service!

Unfortunately the rooms were too warm & the fans had no way of cooling down satisfactorily. Also the cleaning hadn’t done the rooms justice. Finally plug points were not always accessible by bedside.
