Das Haus wirkt auf positive Weise selbstgebaut mit viel Holz und kluger Aufteilung für die kleine Wohnung. Terrase ist toll - insgesamt für 2 Leute bestens geeignet. Der kleine Eingang, in dem man sitzen kann, mochte ich auch gern. Bei Hitze hat man immer einen guten angenehmen schattenplatz vorne oder hinten raus
Es fehlt drinnen ein gemütliches Sitzmöbel, auf der Empore ist keine Lüftung und deshalb bei Hitze total stickig, deshalb muss der laute Ventilator laufen nachts, die Küchenausstattung ist mehr als dürftig, da wären u.a. neue Pfannen, ein Nudeltopf, Salatschüssel und Pfannenwender ein Gewinn

Location-wise Les gites du Belvedere are very good - not too far from town (we took the car all the time but one could potentially walk there) and in a quiet location. Christian is a lovely host, easy to communicate with (French and English) and it was very easy to do the check in and to find the place. It is a wonderful and quirky self-built house with nice views.
However there are a few issues. First of all it is an extremely steep path up to the Gite so better leave the car down at the parking place along the road and carry up your luggage. Then you have to climb a lot of steep, wooden stairs to reach the rooms. And then came the biggest surprise: we had rented Gite du Saul and maybe we had not read the description well enough but we were surprised that this is Christian's actual home with food in the fridge, toiletry in the bathroom and clothes in the wardrobe (so no room for our stuff) and even a cat on the sofa (which was not happy that we evicted her). This took us unprepared and was a bit off-putting in the beginning. Also the place is not very safe for a two year old - the loft where one sleeps is not secured, the stairs are steep and there is a lot of stuff that a kid potentially could destroy. So overall it was a good place to stay but be prepared for the steep stairs, the presence of furry room mates and the possibility of staying in the private home of somebody!

Un appartement dans une maison chalet a flanc de colline. Belle terrasse mais sans vue où du moins sur la terrasse du rez-de-chaussée de chaussée.
Une conception originale mais...
Ûne conception oula sécurité est trop aléatoire quàd on accueille du public. Escalier d accès apres une pente raide encore plus raide. Escalier pour aller sous la mansarde hors norme avec une derniere marche tres haute sans rampe sur l exterieur de l escalier . Tout ca pour arriver sous le toit où on doit ramper pour accéder au couchage... que dire du tabouret escabeau fixé au sol pour aller dans la salle d eau ... Le rideau de douche bricolé sur une cabine monobloc.
Des exterieurs qui manquént de soin et d éntretien.
Quant aux équipements... normal sans fioriture.
Je sais de quoi je parle pour avoir fais l achat de logements en tous genres pour un Tour Opérateur.
Nous n étions peut etre pas les clients pour ce type d hébergement au vu des retours que j ai pu lire, ns n avons pas les mêmes degrés d exigence !
