The obstacle between bed and bathroom is a beautiful spiral staircase. At 70 we could not traverse the stairs twice a night and spent three nights on the pull out couch. Moved to a real bed for the final two nights of our vacation. Loved the view at high tide. Not so much at low tide. The train came by once and shook the place. Other than that, the cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and peaceful. Thank you Sarah for allowing us to stay.

The property was great, couldn’t ask for a better view. Sarah the owner was attentive to our needs and contacted us a couple of times during our stay to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. If I am ever in Maine again I will definitely stay here. The cabin is centrally located and it’s easy to drive to other parts of Maine and Canada.

The cabin was as described and very sweet, clean and comfortable. We used the cabin as a home base to explore parts of the coast and it served us well. Sarah was very communicative and even offered us to stay on since the weather was bad the day of our departure. There are neighbors nearby but it was quiet and no one bothered us. I would recommend if you're exploring the area.

This lovely cabin, at the end of a quiet road, combines privacy and coziness with plenty of light and air. We spent time on the large porch overlooking the water. The sleeping loft was comfortable and the spiral stairs were a charming touch. The sitting area downstairs offered an excellent view of the water during wet weather. We stayed for ten days and found plenty to do in the surrounding towns when we weren't hanging out in the cabin. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby. Don't miss visiting nearby Fort Knox and the observation tower on top of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge. Our host was very welcoming.
