The location is amazing with a stunning view from our room. Right in the heart of the Historic District. The hotlel is in keeping with its surroundings and has a very historic vibe without coming across as needing to be updated. Although there had clearly been updates done as the bathroom looked like it had been newly renovated. The dining room was very atmospheric and also offered a very good breakfast. The owner of the hotel greeted us and was super friendly. Its also a pet friendly hotel and our dog was made to feel just as welcome as we were, which i loved.
The only small thing is that only a small table fan was offered and the room only had a smallish window so it got quite hot when trying to sleep. But to add aircon would probably ruin the aesthetic of the historical building

Hotel Duc de Bourgogne is perfectly located on the canal side by Rozenhoed Kaai. The restaurant is excellent. The staff were charming and accommodating. The hotel has an old world charm which we found enchanting.

Lovely stay friendly staff but poor breakfeast not very fresh fruit salad sour taste(old) very nice coffee and evening meal yes i woul stay again for sure as very friendly and good location
