Perfect hotel feeling in the middle of a forest with small Plitvice imitation lakes- we loved it with my dog

The land is lovely. We stayed in one of the small houses around the lake. It was beautiful lit in the evening. We had a kettle in the room. It was clean and tidy. The area is very well kept and you are given a parking slot inside the area too.
The pool area had a bunch of men drinking and making alot of noise plus the sound system was very high too. It was very disturbing when we thought we would relax near the pool. It was a full on party and even the staff behind the bar were dancing and singing. Also we had to pay €8 for 2 bottles of small water. I think that is exaggerated when next door you have a mini market that sells the same water at 1.50 each!

Love the fact that it was like the pictures . confortable , nice vibe , the tree house it moves when you walk inside, so it gives you the tru thing
It was construcción starting 7 am to 6 pm . making lot of noise. Just one restaurant outside of the Hotel . And the service there it was not good . No room service .

The pool. The outdoors. The rating is mostly for these. If it was only for the room, I would have rated 3.
The room was the worst in this trip to Croatia. It was overpriced for what it offered. At most 2 stars, far from the 4 stars they advertise.
We stayed in a room in the old cabin. It had a very bad smell (moldy and wet), no insects net at the window (thus we couldn't refresh the air in the room), full of insects (alive and dead, spiders, mosquitos and other bugs), very worn out and small bathroom (almost like a RV bath), poor water pressure and the soap dispenser almost useless (I had to push at least 10 times in order to get a normal dose).
I have read other similar reviews and also the property's responses. I understand that the cabin is 50 years old, but if you can't reach the same rating and quality for all your rooms, than you shouldn't rent them. I think we would have been better in a tent.
Also, I have seen that the property tends to shift the blame on the guests for bad reviews. They bring reproaches to guest who didn't complain about the conditions at the front desk during the stay and they say that they could have provided a better room. I don't agree with this practice, and please if you want to reply to this review in such manner, please don't, an apology will be better. If I book a room at a hotel rated with 4 stars on Booking.com I don't espect any trouble. I don't want to loose any of my precious time debating with your employees, I prefer relaxing in my vacation. So that's what I did, even if I was very disappointed about the room. I went to the pool, had one of your overpriced beers, ate at your restaurant (great service by the way, even if the food was average) and was happy about the next day visit to Plivitce Lakes National Park, which was amazing. I am writing this from the comfort of my home, and I ask you again, don't insult me with your corporate template reply. I want to come back again to see the Plivitce Lakes National Park but I will surely pick another accomodation. I wish you all the best!
