Generally very good. Lovely view from window and nice to have balcony. Very comfortable bed. Good to have tea coffee making facilities in room. Also duty manager most helpful in allowing access to microwave for heating food .
The location was further from city centre than we expected. Access extremely difficult at present because of neighbouring buildings works and road alterations. Took several attempts on arrival to find entrance. Satnav could not cope.
Although dog friendly, no bins were provided making disposal of dog mess difficult.
A small point toilet flushing news adjustment, tends to run on.

Breakfast was good. Car park good and secure . Sitting area outside pleasant.
Hotel difficult to find due to local construction and road closures . La rochelle is a nightmare to drive around due to many narrow streets shaded by trees and junctions hardly like junctions, confusing sat navs

The hotel is in a quiet area along a canal about 15mins walk from the harbour area and all it’s restaurants and bars. In the hotel itself you have everything you need including the excellent breakfast that you can enjoy on the terrace. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff are also absolutely wonderful
