The situation was ideal for what we wanted to see and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. We liked the quirky aspects of the old building despite having to climb a flight of stairs from the entrance to reception.
The chairs at breakfast were not the comfiest.

This is my second stay here. I love the 3 French doors which give an excellent view of the city. The staff is very friendly. I ate breakfast at a boulangerie a few steps away. The AC worked great despite the 104 degree heat in August.
You have to walk up a floor to get to the reception desk.

We were really happy with our room and were extremely happy with having a little balcony to sit outside in the evenings. The room is a decent size comparing to other Paris accommodation. Great location!

Staff were super friendly: location very central; rooms clean, and there was a BATH! Great to sink into at the end of every day.
Very noisy - outside traffic and thin walls; no lift to reception; rooms tiny and basic.
