The hotel was great, the rooms were large and the bathroom very nice. All the places of the hotel were very very clean. Congratulations to Elias and his daughter for the breakfast and for his kindness and helpfulness. We were 3 couples and we passed two unforgettable nights in Lindau. Free parking next to the hotel. Very quiet neighbourhood. We all were very satisfied by staying at hotel Schöngarten garni. All perfect!!!!
Nothing. All great !!!

Our hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating and our room was spacious and super clean. We had a wonderful stay.
The decoration and design of the building was lovely.
It was useful to have access to onsite parking. And it was a short walk to the bus stop into the town. Breakfast was great.
We loved our stay. Thank you.

When we arrived we were given the choice of two different rooms--which was very kind! Our host was professional, interested in helping us find our way around the area and give suggestions. Both rooms that we saw were immaculately clean! We chose the room on the upper floor--which was smaller but had a view out to the lake. The beds were perfectly comfortable, the bathroom was newly redone, the high quality carpet was new and vacuumed every day! There were so many different lighting options--a bedside lamp, overhead ceiling light and lights just above the bed. Putting the shutters down every evening provided a dark sleeping environment! The room had a little round table with two comfy chairs. Our room was very well insulated. The hotel was located off the main road, which was great because we were out of the hustle and bustle of the town. It would take about 25 minutes to walk into Lindau. Breakfast was lovely! The host made eggs to order, brought coffee or tea in porcelain pots. There were lovely rolls, pastries, jams, fresh fruit and veggies, charcuterie, cheese.... The breakfast offerings were a bit different every day. It was a perfect get away!

This is a lovely guest house on the outskirts of main Lindau town centre. Warm friendly staff. Excellent private car parking with covered spaces available. Delicious breakfast, fresh cooked scrambled eggs to order was delicious. Fan provided in bedroom was essential in a heatwave as this is a non air conditioned property, the external blinds were excellent to aid keeping heat out and keeping room dark at night. Lovely view to the pretty garden from our bedroom. Nice quiet neighbourhood with an easy walk to an excellent Balkan restaurant. Room was spacious and shower was good.
The walk to Lindau centre/island from this property - especially in a heatwave was quite exhausting - so do bear this in mind as it takes a good 25 minutes.
