Our stay was nice (albeit to short) and particularly the silent spa is a perfect place to leave daily stresses and worries behind instantly. General facilities are great and everything is clean. The rooms are comfy, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is fantastic.
The pricing is though! Unfortunately this is generally true for spas in Austria, but 65€/person extra for a day's entrance to the silent spa after already paying a steep price for the stay is a bit much. Also the fact that despite having had a set dinner included in our stay we had to pay ALL drinks extra is a bit insane. At this price point at least basics such as simple non alcoholic beverages and maybe an apéritif should have really be included.
Also there was a fixed dinner and also a buffet for the people who didn't have half board. But the set dinner included certain items (such as the soups and the cheese buffet) from the general buffet. This was a bit confusing and not at all communicated clearly by the staff.
Another general consideration for the hotel direction: maybe focus less on wanna-be-fancy and stiff and focus on being helpful, warm and easy going.
