the hotel is an old structure with lots of charm, right on the marina where there are restaurants and shops. There was a vocalist singing with her guitar in the evening and sweet small boutiques featuring local designers. I loved the location. The staff was excellent, the porter was so helpful with luggage and the umbrella at the pool was broken and he imediatly replaced it. Stefano at the front desk was so likable and sent us to the best restaurants, you could see he takes pride in his work and loves his job.
not on or near the beach. I ordered a cappuccino to go and it was a small cup really meant for espresso and the lid was paper and did not click onto the cup. They gave me a plastic spoon that melted in the cup and when I lifted the cup from the cupholder the lid flew off and spilled all over the car, not good and they charged me 3.50 euro for the coffee.

Nice location on a piazza with cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating and access to the marina.
Abundant, good-quality breakfast, capuccinos included.
The reception manager kindly sorted out the issue with our room and booked our return transfer to the airport.
Our twin room wasn't available despite our request having been confirmed months in advance. The junior receptionist was rude and unwelcoming about it making us feel uncomfortable.
No help to carry suitcases upstairs to the second floor.
Swimming pool area is small.
