Cracking stay at Orkos Beach Hotel, Mikri Vigla.
Right on the beach. Crystal-clear translucent sea-water so clean it looked almost good enough to drink. Pool, sea, back to the room for a breather, then out again. Easy, free-flowing island holiday. No fuss, no rushing around.
Spotless rooms. Fresh, well-kept breakfast next to the lovely pool area.
As with everything, at the end people make things count and the team running this hotel clearly know how to get it right. Friendly and easy-going staff, always keen to assist with everything. Special mention to Katerina Angeli really warm, responsive and on the ball from the word go. She even pulled the strings for an early check-in. Thanks ever so much Katerina, much appreciated! 🙏
Brilliant location, proper Naxos hospitality and the sweetest kite spot on the island.
The only downside was the access road, which is still not tarmacked. The dust gets everywhere over the cars, around the hotel and in the air. A real shame, especially when local residents, hotels and private businesses are clearly doing their bit. The local council should step up and sort it out.

It has been repainted and looks nice. The honeymoon suite has been upgraded and is better
The breakfast remains poor. The eggs stay too long in the heating pans and are always hard.
The nice fruit runs out by 9am and isn’t replaced (bananas and kiwi)
It would be nice to have some nuts and prunes to put in the yoghurt.

very nice if you come for kitesurfing or have a car to visit the island! If you are an active person is worthy go for joggings, walking, hiking, bicycle in the area! very good restaurant 2 min walk! beach is perfect for kite not for swimming! the stat is very helpful and kind! great breakfast and clean rooms! unfortunately the spa is not open! we spent 5 nights there, it was quiet relaxing! never went to the pool but it seems to be okay! supermarket front door and free parking place!
