Very welcoming and lovely staff. Good location to visit both the North and South of the island. Great breakfast options and lovely pools and very clean facilities.
Room was a slightly odd layout having a sofa bed instead of another double bed which would have been a better use of space for a “family suite”.

10/10 stay. Very family friendly and clean/new facilities. The 3 pools were beautiful and the hotel staff were kind. The hotel is in a great location and everything was within walking distance.

My stay at Contessina in Zante was generally very enjoyable. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, quiet and safe. The rooms were spotless, the reception staff were lovely, and the housekeeping team worked incredibly hard. A special mention to Julia from Ukraine in the restaurant, who was exceptionally friendly.
Breakfast was quite good, but dinner choices were limited, not always best cooked so I would not recommend paying for half board. My main disappointment was that only one coffee was included with breakfast, while even water with a prepaid dinner cost over €5. Considering the stay cost almost €300 per night, this felt unnecessarily stingy.
Overall, a positive stay, although slightly overpriced for the service provided.
These comments refer only to the buffet restaurant where breakfast was served, as I did not try the hotel’s second restaurant. The standard of the food was quite basic, and many dishes seemed to have been prepared earlier and reheated. The scrambled eggs were often cold, although freshly cooked omelettes were available. Some vegetables and meat dishes at dinner were also lukewarm or cold.
The dinner selection was limited, so I do not think half board offered good value. Especially for 5 star hotel. Only one coffee was included at breakfast, and even water with a prepaid dinner cost over €5. Considering the hotel cost almost €300 per night, this felt unnecessarily stingy.

The hotel is very modern and clean!
However it was very noisy in the bedrooms. The walls are really thin and you can hear everyone talking or walking past your room. The rooms also weren’t very spacious.
