Location was great, by the river, close to bars and restaurants. . Easy access to the canal.
The river room was not probably worth the money as the trees blocked the river so not worth spending the extra money.

Fantastic location - hotel a little tired. You can't beat the location of this - right by the river and in the old town. It was very convenient to park at the hotel for an extra charge as we had a full car on the way back to Calais. Staff were friendly and efficient and the room was small but clean.
Everything was a bit tired- the carpets, the decor - not that this was a major problem. The breakfast was mediocre but served in a lovely room but it was at least included in the price.

Lovely old building that was 4star at some stage.
Public rooms excellent decor.
Good location.
Toilet dirty
Shower very low power
Staff all young, poorly dressed & barely helpful. No sign of any senior management.
Safe wouldn’t work & not repaired.
Breakfast poor & stale at 9.30am , staff started noisily clearing up at 9.50, before finish time of 10am.
We paid extra for river view but trees blocked the view.
