Comfortable bed. Great location. Reception staff friendly.
Food in the bar wasn't great. Cold when came out and chips were soggy. Both food and drink were extremely over priced. Won't be recommending to dine here.
Rooms were very small with nothing but a (dirty) wall as a view from the window.

The location was great. Close to city centre and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
We stayed here before in 2021 and couldnt say enough good things about it so we booked to stay again for just one night and it was definitely the worst experience we have had in a hotel. Without a doubt this hotel has gone downhill since our stay in 2021 and we are very disappointed and can assure we won't be booking here again.
The food was very disappointing. Ordered the double trouble burger and the burger itself was like rubber, no salad on the side or on the burger itself. The chips were very greasy also. I've had better in McDonald's.
The hotel and restaurant was very old fashioned and dull and the restaurant wasn't very clean as it was very hard to find a table that wasn't dirty.
The hotel room had a smell of dampness and mould and the curtains had holes in the back of them. The room was also very worn out and could definitely do with a make over.
I asked for a pina colada and the bar man didn't even know what glass to put it in and had to ask another member of staff. He hadn't a clue how to make the cocktail either so just threw something together and it was by far the worst cocktail I've ever had and tasted like sour milk.
The only good thing I can say about our stay this time around is the location. Unfortunately we will not be recommending or staying here again.

Loved the spa, had a beautiful treatment with meena, never been so relaxed. Loved the hotel bar games room for kids and food was nice.

I didn't like that there were no net curtains on the windows, and I couldn't use amazon stick on the TV as the TV was so tight against the wall

I loved everything about this property the location was perfect. the shower facilities were great lovely fluffy towels the Wi-Fi good the bed was AMAZING so comfy. great little bar and restaurant on ground floor. brilliant musician on the night we were there also.
minor point we had to walk with our cases from car park as this was in a different street.

Staff were kind and were really interested in helping me to enjoy my stay. Location was really near the bus station so I didn't have far to walk and everything was close by.
There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel.

it was handed to other hotel
In the room there was a big pillar at the end of the bed .There was dust on the double bed where the attic hatch was opening a bit, there was no sockets at the bed side lockers .There was no hock on the back of the bath room door the shower cream would come out of the bottle.Where the coffee tray was there was no socket to plug the kettle . It was a bad place where it was. The chain was broken on the door you can hear the noise of the traffic.

We had a lovely room , lots of room for the 3 of us we had spare bunk beds in the room too.
Staff were lovely. Breakfast was really good and all self service. The pool and jacuzzi was really nice. Dinner in the bar was excellent 👌 Tea n coffee facilities. Shower was lovely.
The room and hotel could do with being updated. The lead for the iron was damaged and the ironing board wouldn't stay up.

Very Noisy in Hotel at night, TV next door very loud, also people in corridor very loud for an extended length of time. A person kept bang their door repeatedly to try & close it.

The hotel is pleasant and centrally located for exploring the city.
The room I was in was overlooking the river but the price to pay is the constant noise from traffic. Because of the position of the premises just at the bridge, traffic is stopping at the traffic lights with large trucks included, very very noisy constantly.
The bed wasn't very comfortable, possibly a mattress change required.
Parking is a bit awkward with a walk from the Aldi carpark involved.

The staff were excellent and very helpful to our needs when requested. The pool was very good and the play area within the bar area was good for small kids. The kids club was another excellent addition to the hotel but only a small fault- While the play area was an excellent addition to the hotel for kids it definitely could do with a deep clean and some air ventilation as it was extremely warm due to the machines and had bad odour within the play area.. Hotel within 500 meters of the main town. No air con in the room but the fans were left in the rooms for guests. The baby cot was in the room upon arrival and we got an early check in thanks to the front house of staff. Plenty of pubs takeaways and super markets within walking distance. Tramore is only a 15 minute drive from the hotel. Free hotel car park again within walking distance of the hotel. Overall the hotel was very good and would have no issue staying here again in the near future.

Really convenient to city centre, we were able to walk everywhere. Also able to rent bikes to do the Greenway close by.

I ordered room service and had a very pleasant engagement with 2 of the staff Ella and Joe. Also I managed to get breakfast to the room , a continental one but this was down to a little gentle persuasion. I happily paid a service charge for this. Also I found Leanne at reception helpful and had a very nice manner.
Firstly the hotel does not highlight the car park is located a 5 min walk from the hotel in a multi storage car park which is the main Aldi car par park. With luggage this is an issue and also there is no visible security in the car park and it presents a risk. The shower did not work correctly and only the hot tap worked which presented a risk for children. For people with mobility issues the fact that you had to step into the bath again presents a safety/ fall risk. The request for breakfast to the room was deemed as outside the normal and there was no facility to leave a card outside your hotel room but you have to complete a very crudely put together sheet of paper which clearly could have been done to a higher standard. The standard of the hotel is below par and having paid 115 € for the room including breakfast. €38 for an evening meal which was very basic and 10 euro for room service . (delivery of evening meal and breakfast) and the €10 to get a taxi back to the car park given the luggage and work material I had with me. 173€ was too expensive for a hotel that clearly needs to up its game

Breakfast was excellent. Perfect location. Lovely room with an art deco feel. Spotlessly crisp white linen. But what made this so very special was the genuine warmth of all the staff. Relaxed atmosphere. My first trip to Waterford... I will be back! Staying at Tracy's!!
